Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Jean-Marc Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Morgeot-Fairendes" . Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Musky aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers. Juicy, intensely flavored and nicely delineated, with good cut to the flavors of pear, citrus peel and spring flowers. This boasts surprising acid spine and good density. A step up in grip and length from the Chaumes: Pillot picked this parcel early in 2005. Carrying a reasonable 13.2% alcohol. (ST)" (09/2007)

2013 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 95VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Incorporating more Petite Sirah than normal, and the first time there's been less than 50% Syrah, the 2013 Syrah Broken Stones is made from 48% Syrah, 22% Petite Sirah, 17% Grenache, 6% Mourvedre the rest Tempranillo and Roussanne. Its deep, inky color is followed by a structured, seriously mineral-laced and full-bodied red that offers lots of fruit (cassis, black cherries and raspberries), smoked earth and chocolate aromas and flavors. The tannin is front and center, yet they're beautifully ripe and polished. Give bottles 2-3 years and enjoy through 2028. (JD)" (08/2016)

2014 Rhys "Porcupine Hill" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Rhys "Porcupine Hill" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (95RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Coming from the high density plantings done by the team at Rhys (it's also a cellar selection as well), the 2014 Pinot Noir Porcupine Hill Bearwallow Vineyard is another best to date cuvee and is easily the most concentrated and lengthy of the three cuvees from this site. Black raspberries, black cherries, tons of minerality and ground herbs emerge from this young, tight and beautifully focused red that needs 3-4 years of cellaring and will drink beautifully over the following decade or more. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Much more upfront and ready to go than the Santa Lucia Highlands releases, the deep ruby colored 2013 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley offers tons of juicy berry fruits, spice, underbrush and floral characteristics in its medium to full-bodied, supple, voluptuous personality. 1997 Sine Qua Non "Twisted and Bent" San Luis Obispo County White Blend
Bid on this bottle of 1997 Sine Qua Non "Twisted and Bent" San Luis Obispo County White Blend (95RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1997 Twisted and Bent (540 cases) is no wimpy wine. All of the fruit comes from the Alban Vineyard in San Luis Obispo. The 1997's blend is 60% Roussanne and 40% Chardonnay. This is white wine at its most concentrated. Light gold with a greenish hue, it has the unctuosity and nearly the power of chartreuse liqueur, but it is dry, full-bodied, and easy to drink in large quantities (I know). Its honeyed viscosity, and extraordinary bouquet of rose petals, buttery tropical fruits, and orange marmalade are exotic, thrilling, and altogether a treat to satiate both the intellectual and hedonistic senses. The fact that it is dry is an achievement given the degree of sugar at which these grapes must have been picked ... (RP)" (02/2000)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Rivers-Marie "Silver Eagle Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (94RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Pinot Noir Silver Eagle is from a vineyard owned by the well-known viticulturalist and winemaker Ulises Valdez. This is a blend of three clones: Calera, 828 and a suitcase clone from Vosne-Romanée known as VR. This is a bigger, richer Pinot Noir than the Occidental Ridge, with darker fruits and more forest floor, black cherry and blackcurrant notes, a lush, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, and beautiful concentration and depth. This is a stunner that should drink well for another decade. (RP)" (10/2015)

1971 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this bottle of 1971 Margaux, Margaux. Michael Broadbent: "Distinctly more attractive than Lafite or Latour...well covered from the mid-1970s and a decade later displaying considerable charm with a delicate, fragrant bouquet and crisp fruit and ,though fully mature - looking, almost identical comments at a dinner in 1996. The following year, at the first of Wagner's verticals, sweet, flavoury, refreshing, some charm buy just misses. Now fully mature-looking with a ruddy amber colour and a nowhere-to-go orange rim. Initially an attractive 'leaf mould' which opened up richly. Fairly sweet, nice weight and shape, lean yet fleshy. Last tasted November 2000. 3 stars. No need to wait." Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (97RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 is a great Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard from a much-maligned and sometimes excessively criticized vintage. 2011 has its low points, but there are many producers who got it right, and survived the challenging growing and harvest conditions. This wine has phenomenal intensity, with plenty of crushed rock, pineapple, honeysuckle, orange and tangerine blossom in an elegant, medium to full-bodied style, with terrific intensity, good acidity and freshness. Highly concentrated, densely packed and built to age. As young as it is, it also shows a lovely velvety texture rare for this vintage. Finishes with terrific breadth, subtle minerality and noble tannins. I've been a fan of this wine since the outset. (ST)" (06/2005)

2015 Carlisle "Papa's Block" Russian River Valley Syrah
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Carlisle "Papa's Block" Russian River Valley Syrah ((90-92RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Syrah Papa’s Block is 100% Syrah and finished at 15.3% natural alcohol. This soft, juicy wine has velvety tannins, oodles of blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, as well as a touch of road tar and pepper. It is heady, rich, and is aged in 25% new French oak before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Anticipated maturity: now-2025. A great success story, Mike Officer’s Carlisle Winery continues to not only protect heritage old-vine sites in Northern California, but to also turn out a bevy of realistically priced, delicious, consumer-friendly wines, primarily from Zinfandel, although Officer can also turn a trick or two with Grenache, Petite Sirah and Syrah. Full body, with masses of fruit and chewy tan nins. Plus, there’s black licorice and dried berries. Give it time to soften. What a bottle. Will it ultimately be better than 2001 Tenuta Nuova? Yes. 2001 Alvaro Palacios "Finca Dofi" Priorat
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2001 Alvaro Palacios "Finca Dofi" Priorat (93RP, 92ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The estate-grown 2001 Finca Dofi, fashioned from tiny yields of 20 hectoliters per hectare, was aged in 100% new French oak. A blend of 60% Grenache, and the rest Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot, it appears to be the finest vintage of this cuvee I have yet tasted. Inky/purple to the rim with a sweet nose of creme de cassis, blackberries, minerals, and a hint of acacia flowers, this intense, opulent, full-bodied, seamless 2001 is already accessible. 2010 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle of 2010 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Rich, backwards, structured and massively concentrated, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon comes mostly from the Champoux Vineyard (also from Galitzine, Klipsun, Palengat and Tapteil) and is comprised of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot that spent 22 months in all new French oak. Offering up plenty of creme de cassis, coffee bean, toasted spice, pencil shavings and violet-like qualities on the nose, it has palate staining levels of extract and tannin that come through on the mid-palate and finish. Vinous: "The 2012 Nuits St. Georges Clos des Porrets Saint-Georges is beautifully round and supple. Here the fruit is distinctly red-toned, with hints of iron, earthiness, smoke and tobacco that add complexity. The 2012 will be highly appealing young because of its pure density, but it also appears to have the stuffing to age well for a number of years. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine Marc Morey Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Referts" (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From contract fruit, the Marc Morey 2007 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts is dominated by nut oils, lime, white peach, and honey, playing against chalk, salt and iodine, in a display that hints at Chablis or at Riesling. This is silken-textured, irresistibly luscious, and forward, yet not without mineral fascination, and lingeringly savory. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(these vines are located just beneath Lalou Bize's parcel, at the beginning of Beaux-Monts Haut, according to Perrot-Minot): Good bright medium red. Captivating pure perfume of red raspberry, minerals and flowers. Dense, juicy and weightless, with terrific mineral precision to its concentrated, savory flavors of redcurrant and red cherry. Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Don't Miss!* There is a background application of wood that frames the notably ripe and borderline exotic yellow orchard fruit nose that is intensely spicy. In the same fashion as the Bougros this is a big and overtly muscular wine though there is a more refined mouth feel to the broad-shouldered flavors that terminate in a lemon and softly mineral finish. This is not overly complex at present but I find that Vaudésir virtually always adds considerable depth with time in bottle." (10/2013)

Sweet red cherries, flowers, spices and licorice are some of the notes that emerge from the glass. This is a decidedly bright, elegant Grattamacco that impresses for its fabulous overall balance and understated, classy personality. Of the 2010 Rochioli "South River" Russian River Valley Chardonnay,Wine Enthusiast writes: "**Editors' Choice** A spectacular Chardonnay--this is dazzingly beautiful and mesmerizing in its appeal. The complexity of flavor stuns, offering tiers of pineapples, oranges, green apples and golden mangoes. Then the oaky influences appear in the form of buttered toast and caramel, with a suggestion of honey. The finish is dry and crisp in acidity." (09/2012)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 La Pousse d'Or Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des 60 Ouvrees" (93BH, 93RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2011 horizontal tasting in Beaune. The Volnay 1er Cru Clos des 60 Ouvrées 2011 has a very attractive, ebullient floral bouquet with dried rose petals and lavender infusing the crushed strawberry and raspberry scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a keen thread of acidity; taut and linear and yet with great intensity on the sophisticated, intellectual finish. The terroir shows really well here – a Volnay with plenty of panache and pedigree. You can approach this now, but it will improve. This is one of the best Volnays out there. (NM)" (11/2014)

A gorgeous, open-knit wine, the 2013 captures all the signatures of this great vineyard and estate. Aromatically pure and nuance, with generous, vivid red-fleshed fruit, the 2012 is absolutely gorgeous today. 2013 Maybach "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Maybach "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are roughly 600 cases of the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium, all of which comes from the Weitz Vineyard on the eastern Vaca Mountain hillside of Oakville at an elevation of about 1,000 feet above the Silverado Trail. This is shallow soil interspersed with loads of pebbles and stones. This wine is incredible first-growth material – a magical Cabernet Sauvignon with an opaque purple color, an extraordinary nose of blackberry and cassis, white flowers, crushed rock and minerality followed by a full-bodied majestic mouthfeel with phenomenal balance, purity and overall equilibrium. Stunningly rich and impressive, this wine will hit its peak in 8-10 years and has the potential to last 40-50 years. For those who keep track of such things, the wine was completely aged in 100% new Darnajou and Taransaud barrels. (RP)" (10/2015)

2009 Ovid Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2009 Ovid Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 97WE, 95ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Ovid is stunningly beautiful. At times it shows a little more depth, power and richness than the Hexameter, but both wines are compelling. Endless layers of fruit saturate the palate as this rich, intense wine conquers the heart and intellect. A totally vivid wine, the 2009 is even more impressive from bottle than it was from barrel. Over the time I followed it, the 2009 gained finesse and elegance in the glass, which bodes quite well for the future. Intense graphite, crushed rocks and pencil shaving nuances add energy to the polished, huge finish. 98+ Points (AG)" (12/2012)

2000 Les Fiefs de Lagrange, St-Julien (OWC)
Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2000 Les Fiefs de Lagrange, St-Julien (OWC - 90JG, 89WS) in original wood. John Gilman: "The 2000 vintage of Les Fiefs de Lagrange is noteworthy for having had all of the château’s Petit Verdot included in the second label, and the wine should prove to be quite ageworthy as a result. The bouquet is initially a bit marked by its toasty oak, which may mean that this vintage of Les Fiefs saw a bit more than the standard ten percent, but there is no issue with the integration of the wood on the palate. The bouquet is deep and powerful, as it offers up notes of black cherries, cassis, tobacco leaf, dark chocolate, soil tones and the toasty oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused and youthfully reticent, with a rock solid core of fruit, plenty of ripe tannins, sound acids and excellent length and grip on the still very primary finish. This will be a long-distance runner of a second label, and probably demand a good decade in the cellar before it reach

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "Thalabert" Crozes-Hermitage (OWC - 95RP, 92ST, 92WE, 90WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The greatest Crozes-Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert since the magnificent 1990 is the 2009. Jaboulet has nearly 100 acres in this appellation, and the 2009, which is bursting with potential, represents a great buy for Syrah lovers. Its dense purple color is followed by an explosive bouquet of blackberries, sweet cherries, licorice, Provencal olives, graphite and subtle smoke. Full-bodied with silky tannins as well as a terrific mouthfeel and palate penetration, this gorgeous offering should drink well for 15 or more years. One needs no further evidence of the extraordinary turn around in the quality of the Jaboulet wines than what proprietress Caroline Frey has accomplished in 2009 as well as 2010. As I indicated last year, this is one of the great qualitative turn arounds in the wine world. (RP)" (12/2011)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2001 Mitolo "Savitar" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (94JH, (91-93RP), 92WS). 2005 Vérité "La Joie" Sonoma Red
Bid on this bottle of 2005 Vérité "La Joie" Sonoma Red (100RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The myth perpetrated by Old World wine proponents is that California wines don’t age. Those critics need to taste Verité, because these wines are aging far slower than I imagined. The 2005 La Joie (67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 7% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec) tips the scales at 14.7% alcohol. It received the same 18 months in 100% new oak. It is interesting that Pierre Seillan said that he thought the high-elevation vineyards of Sonoma that go into Verité (self-serving, os course) are his greatest sites in the world for Bordeaux varietals. But remember – he’s from Bordeaux! This multidimensional wine, which enjoyed a 4-5 day cool, pre-fermentation maceration, has a provocative bouquet of blackberry, cassis, new saddle leather, Christmas fruitcake, graphite and high-quality unsmoked cigar tobacco. It is profound, extremely full-bodied and massive in the mouth, b

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2003 Querciabella "Camartina" Toscana (OWC - 93RP, 92ST, 91WE, 91WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the 2003 Camartina is a drop-dead gorgeous effort. Fat, rich and opulent, it will reward consumers with its generous super-ripe fruit, great length and beautiful overall balance. While it doesn’t look to be one of the more long-lived Camartinas, with some air it is drinking beautifully today. It is a very refined effort in this vintage. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2018. 2006 Pavie-Decesse, St-Emilion
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2006 Pavie-Decesse, St-Emilion (94RP, 93ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Planted in pure limestone above Gerard Perse’s other famous vineyard/terroir, Chateau Pavie, this 10-acre site’s vines average 47 years of age. Fashioned from remarkably low yields, this blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc is a powerful, dense, tannic wine that will require considerable time to round into shape. It exhibits a dense purple color along with sweet aromas of mulberries, black currants, minerals, cold steel, graphite, and background spice. Full-bodied, highly-extracted, dense, and made in an unfashionably tannic, broodingly backward style, this is a wine for the ages. It requires 8-10 years of cellaring, and should last for 25-30+.
