2015 Kalinda Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
Review Date: 07-20-2017
The value here is ridiculous; I will be getting a case for myself to enjoy and see how it comes of age. This is the most fulfilling cab in this price point I have ever encountered. Absolutely delicious to the very last drop. Big, full, and structured. The only downfall being that the bottle is only 750 ml.

Domaine Pacory "K&L Exclusive - Reserve" Domfrontais Cask Strength Calvados (750ml)
Review Date: 07-19-2017
Another insane K&L exclusive pricing on a unique and mouthwatering spirit. The high pear percentage of this recipe make a gorgeous contrast to the more typical apple flavors and make this a must try. Growing pears apparently takes a lot of patience, enjoying this takes none.

Domaine Hubert "K&L Exclusive" Pays d'Auge Vieux Calvados (750ml)
Review Date: 07-19-2017
This was my first time drinking Calvados and instantly fell in love. Apple cider for adults. Distilled in old school, alembic copper stills, I couldn't believe how intense the flavors of cider, brown sugar, and warm apple pie can be found in a spirit at this price.

VING Kale, Lemon Peel, & Cucumber Infused Organic Farm Fresh Vodka (750ml)
Review Date: 07-19-2017
Didn't think I would find a Vodka I enjoyed (let alone when kale is on the label), but this one really caught me off guard. The kale is infused as opposed to "flavored" and another distillation follows, making the taste subtle and delicate. The cucumber notes really stand out on the palate. This Vodka drinks almost like a super light Gin and would make a great crossover.

2012 Altvs Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Review Date: 07-19-2017
Plush and lush! Better hold on to your seat when taking a sip of this powerhouse. The color is deep and attractive with legs for days. Heavy elements cassis, plums, oak, and rough tannins make an extensive wine worthy of the heftiest meal.

2015 Rustenberg Chardonnay Stellenbosch South Africa
Review Date: 07-19-2017
A great South African Chardonnay that reminds me of Chablis, but with a touch of light and well integrated oak; no buttered popcorn here. Lemon zesty, lots of granny smith apples, acidic, and sharp aromas make this a great accompaniment to soft cheeses, fatty light meats, or just on its own.

2013 Zaca Mesa Santa Ynez Valley "Z Cuvee" Red
Review Date: 07-12-2017
Finally a domestic Rhone blend (55% Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvedre) to rival all those French values in both quality and price! Very fragrant, like blueberry pie, accompanied with fantastic lift and brightness in the palate. Just the right amount of tannin to be approachable, yet they remind you you're drinking a serious wine.

2014 La Chablisienne Chablis "Les Venerables" Vieilles Vignes
Review Date: 07-01-2017
Great value - riper fruited and texturous, this Chablisienne appears to carry more weight to it than its siblings. Delicious and crisp with ripe bruised apple and pear notes.

2014 La Chablisienne Chablis "La Sereine"
Review Date: 07-01-2017
A mouthwatering example of how multi-dimensional Chablis can be. The Chardonnay is gorgeous and elegant; the fruit aromas and flavors show beautifully, but are perfectly restrained. What makes this wine in particular so special are its racing acidity, mineral drive, and salty finish.

2015 Domaine de l'Aigle À Deux Têtes Chardonnay "Derriere la Roche" Côtes du Jura Blanc
Review Date: 05-31-2017
Made from a Chardonnay clone exclusive to Jura, this is a heck of a wine for the price... Made in a non-oxidative style (no "nutty" flavors), this wine manages to express a very rich aroma and flavor without any oak at all. Having covered the entire vineyard to prevent destruction from birds, the workers here have put a lot of effort into this bottle and the price is still very much within reach.

Truetap - Waiter's Corkscrew Burgundy K&L Logo
Review Date: 05-30-2017
This is a super-solid corkscrew. Built with metal parts, it'll take a lot of abuse before cracking and falling apart, unlike its plastic competitors. We use it all the time ourselves for tastings and these have yet to let us down! The best feature is the dual pivot point, making the actual cork-pulling process easy, and smooth.

2016 Chateau Puech-Haut "Prestige" Coteaux du Languedoc Saint-Drezery Rosé
Review Date: 05-29-2017
Just an awesome example of Provence-style rose from another appellation. It is delicate and smells like a big bouquet of fresh flowers. A bit sharper on the palate, this rose is great on its own or with cheese. Could even stand up to something like lobster dipped in butter.

2014 Dominus "Napanook" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Review Date: 05-20-2017
I wasn't sure I wanted to jump onto the bandwagon, but I'm definitely on board now... Elegant aromas of some sort of violet-y-black-olive-marmalade give this wine a sophisticated sense right upon pulling the cork. Full bodied, but balanced, flavors of blueberry, plums, blackcurrant, and coffee align with a perfectly ripened core. Awesome now, even better in years to come.

Beautifully unique flavor profile sure to put a smile on everyone's face. The nose boasts age with a brooding, yet not overwhelming toast and marmalade complexion that instantly pulls you in. The palate is similar in that the nuances seem unending, but in a lean and structured order. Love this.

Although the wine starts off a little quiet, decant it for a bit and see what happens... Initially, baking spices dominate, but they are followed by the delicious scent of fresh cherries. The wine is soft, yet approachable with great round mouthfeel. Definitely goes down easy and leaves you wanting more.

2014 Baccinetti "La Saporoia" Rosso di Montalcino
Review Date: 04-03-2017
Fantastic aromas of wild strawberries, dried flowers, cedar, baking spices, and a light gamey-ness led me to believe this Italian was much more costly than it's advertised price. The wine was bright on the palate and had a great tannin profile.

2013 Seven Hills Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Review Date: 03-06-2017
For the lover of well-balanced, smoky cabs, this value from Washington had much more going for it than I had anticipated. The strawberry aromas are balanced by stewed black cherry and a dry woodiness. The palate shows plums, cocoa, and baking spices accompanied by a lingering finish. Grab two bottles: one while you cook the roast beef and the second to pair.
