2004 Krug Brut Champagne Back In Stock!
2004 Krug Brut Champagne

97 points John Gilman: "The new release of 2004 Krug is absolutely beautiful and is already quite elegant and open on both the nose and palate and is drinking with great finesse. I had expected this wine to be a bit more steely in structure out of the blocks, but the refinement of the blend this year has produced a wine that is already a joy to drink at age thirteen, though it will continue age gracefully for many, many decades to come. The cépages in 2004 is thirty-nine percent chardonnay, thirty-seven percent pinot noir and twenty-four percent pinot meunier, with the wine hav ...Read More »

2010 Launois Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne

We began importing the Champagnes of Launois more than a decade ago, though we haven't been able to promote them properly because our allocations were very tight. Champagne Launois' wines are highly sought-after, so much so, in fact, that we've sold their Champagne to Champenois who can't get it at home! Bernard Launois does things differently than the rest of his neighbors, picking a week to 10 days later and using only massal-selected plants rather than the more common clones. All of the C... 2009 Egrot (formerly Elisabeth Goutorbe) Brut Grand Cru Champagne

This Champagne used to be called Elisabeth Goutorbe. Elisabeth changed the name over to her married name Egrot when she and her husband moved out of her parents facility in Ay, and into their own. This 100% Ay grand cru Champagne is composed of 2/3 Pinot Noir and 1/3 Chardonnay, all from the family estate. Although the Champagne has no dosage whatsoever, it is still full and rich.
