2015 Moulin de la Gardette "Tradition" Gigondas

92 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Leading off the 2015s, the 2015 Gigondas Tradition is another beauty from this estate. 94-97 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Moving to the reds, I was able to taste all of the components of the 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape and this will unquestionably be another terrific vintage from this estate. All of the samples had inky, purple colors, classic aromatics, good acidity and freshness, and balanced profiles. The Mourvèdre, in particular, was beautiful. (JebDunnuck.com)" (10/2017) 95-97 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "No surprise, the 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape takes the quality of the Coudoulet and ratchets it up a notch (or two!). With cooling winds from the north and at this higher altitude, there is a crispness to the wines showing more red fruit qualities in the reds and more vibrant apple tones in the whites. It’s a downright sexy, voluptuous 2015 offering textbook notes of kirsch liqueur, ground pepper, herbes de Provence, and incense. 2015 Eric & Joël Durand "Les Coteaux" Saint-Joseph (Pre-Arrival)

90-93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I found all three of the St Joseph releases in 2015 to be outstanding. A gorgeous wine that does everything right, the 2015 Saint Joseph les Coteaux (15% new barrels) from the Durand brothers has classic black and blue fruits, hints of graphite and leather, medium to full-bodied richness and building, yet ripe and polished tannin. This serious St Joseph will benefit from short-term cellaring and drink well for a decade. (JD)" (12/2016) 93 points Wine Spectator: "A hint of warm ganache melds quickly into the background, while fig, blackberry and black currant confiture notes emerge s ...Read More »

2015 Eric & Joël Durand "Lautaret" Saint-Joseph (Pre-Arrival)

92-94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I found all three of the St Joseph releases in 2015 to be outstanding. A bigger, richer wine, the 2015 Saint Joseph Lautaret offers loads of minerality, crushed rock, black pepper and smoked black fruits in a meaty, structured, concentrated style. You're going to have to forget about this bottle for 4-5 years or so. (JD)" (12/2016) 94 points Wine Spectator: "Layers of warm boysenberry, raspberry and blackberry confiture roll through, backed by baker's chocolate, tar and licorice notes on the finish. Has muscle and cut, with a smoldering feel overall. Best from 2020 through 2030. 330 ...Read More »

Drinking Window 2019 - 2029.(JLL)" (2/2017) 91 points James Suckling: "Blue fruits and flowers on the nose. The freshness and open-knit structure make a compelling combination of generously fleshy and flavorsome style. Plums and blackberries throughout. Drink now." (8/2017) 90 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Coming all from clay and pebbly soils located to the north of Châteauneuf du Pape, the 2015 Côtes du Rhône Terre d'Argile is a supple, elegant example of this cuvée. 2015 Eric & Joël Durand "Premice" Cornas (Pre-Arrival)

94 points Wine Spectator: "A warm, ripe, fleshy style, with layers of fig paste, raspberry pâte de fruit and blackberry confiture tumbling over each other. A racy and well-buried graphite spine keeps this honest, with mouthwatering anise and sweet tapenade details lining the finish. Best from 2020 through 2035. 1,500 cases made. (JM)" (10/2017) 91-93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Cornas Premices is a rock-star, entry-level cuvée that comes from estate vineyards, was mostly destemmed and aged in 25% new French oak. Wild herbs, black and blue fruits, leather and graphite all emerge from the glass and this beaut ...Read More »

Raspberry and apricot-scented fruit, rich chocolate notes and an incredible whirlwind of spice are delivered in this full-bodied wine that shows no heat, just waves of flavor. It should drink well for 20 years or more. (JC)" (10/2017) 97 points Wine Spectator: "Ripe and focused, with a delightful mix of cassis, blood orange and cherry coulis flavors streaming through, backed by black tea and apple wood accents. 2010 Domaine des Sénéchaux Châteauneuf-du-Pape Top Pick!
2010 Domaine des Sénéchaux Châteauneuf-du-Pape

95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from an identical blend, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape is a hedonistic Chateauneuf du Pape fruit bomb. Super-rich with layers of glycerin and fruit, this full-bodied classic smells like a Provencal open-air fruit and vegetable market. Loaded with slightly blacker fruits than its 2011 counterpart, there are also hints of charcuterie, spice box, cedar and Christmas fruitcake in this full-throttle, rich, concentrated wine. Drink it over the next 12-15+ years. This nearly 65-acre estate is owned by the famous and much loved Bordeaux proprietor, Jean-Mi ...Read More »

2007 Château de Montfaucon "Baron Louis" Côtes du Rhône

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A new discovery for me, the 2007 Cotes du Rhone (a 4,000+-case blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah, Cinsault, and Counoise) is a seriously built, concentrated, powerful effort displaying notes of garrigue, pepper, lavender, kirsch, and black currants. It also exhibits that wonderful seaweed wrapper (nori) scent that seems to be a characteristic of many southern Rhone wines. (RP)" (10/2009) Wine Spectator: "Ripe and still youthful, offering a solid core of blackberry and boysenberry fruit, liberally laced with dark licorice and sweet spice notes. 2015 Domaine La Bastide Saint Dominique "Les Hesperides" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Pre-Arrival)

96 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Like the 2016, the 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Hesperides is an even split of Grenache and Mourvèdre, from the les Bedines lieu-dit (100% sandy soils), that was completely destemmed and brought up mostly in stainless steel, with 20% in demi-muids. It’s a brilliant wine that offers lots of meaty, spice, licorice nuances, tons of blackberry and black raspberry fruit, full-bodied richness, sweet tannin and a blockbuster finish. It’s up with the crème de la crème of the vintage and will keep for two decades. (JebDunnuck.com)" (10/2017) 93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "All of the special cuvé ...Read More »
