Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Ridge Vineyards "Pagani Ranch" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel (93RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Zinfandel Pagani Ranch is another striking wine. It boasts fabulous depth yet at the same time maintains remarkable aromatic freshness and nuance. Dark cherries, flowers, mint and licorice flesh out on a beautifully articulated finish laced with persistent saline notes. This slightly cooler site was somewhat protected from the severe heat. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020. (AG)" (08/2012)
Starting Bid: $123.01

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Kosta Browne "Cohn Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (93VN, 93WS, 92RP). Vinous: "Once again, the Pinot Noir Cohn Vineyard is one of the most unique wines in the range. Exotic and totally alluring in its aromatics, the Cohn has a wildness to it that I find compelling. A host of blood orange, rose petal and sweet red cherry notes soar from the glass in a lift, aromatically intense Pinot loaded with personality. This is an eccentric style for the Russian River, but it all works nicely. Kosta Browne has a long association with Cohn, as it was the source of the first KB Pinot. (AG)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $76.04

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Saxum ''James Berry Vineyard'' Paso Robles White Blend (94VN, 93JD, 91RP). Vinous: "Glistening straw-yellow. Intensely perfumed pear, lemon pith, white flowers and succulent herb aromas pick up a chalky mineral element with air. Chewy and tightly focused on the palate, offering concentrated, mineral-laced citrus and orchard fruit and honeysuckle flavors that show superb clarity and spicy back-end cut. Finishes on a sappy pear nectar note, showing sharp delineation and superb, floral-driven tenacity. (JR)" (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $88.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Sine Qua Non "Touché - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (100RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Lastly, the utterly perfect 2012 Syrah Touche reminds me of a great vintage of Guigal’s Cote Rotie La Landonne. A blend of 93% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah and 2% Viognier, all from the Eleven Confessions Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills, it spent 40 months in 78% new French oak. Deep, concentrated, full-bodied and layered, with a multidimensional texture and to-die-for notes of camphor, cured meats, violets, smoke and assorted dark fruits, this beauty has fine, perfectly ripe tannin and blockbuster length. Give it 3-4 years and drink over the following two decades. (JD)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $441.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1992 Duckhorn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon . A blend of 77% cabernet sauvignon, 18% cabernet franc and 10% merlot in 1992, Duckhorn's signature cab showed lovely plum and currant notes upon release, with well-integrated tannins that should have served it well over the years. Founded by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1976, Duckhorn Vineyards has been crafting classic Bordeaux varietals from the Napa Valley for over 30 years. Famed for their Merlot wines, somehow the Duckhorns managed to sneak their Cabernet Sauvignon wines out the door without anyone noticing. A combination of estate and purchased fruit from Napa Valley allowed Dan and Margaret to demonstrate the blending skills they picked up in Bordeaux. They did an excellent job.
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (100JD, (97-100RP), 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chardonnay Eastside Vineyard is scented of lemon tart, baking bread, crushed stones, clover honey and shaved almonds with hints of pure, sliced pears and Golden Delicious apples. Full-bodied, elegant, fine and restrained, the silken palate has a quiet intensity, finishing long with savory layers. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $265.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Blankiet "Rive Droite - Paradise Hills Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Merlot, which is now called Rive Droite (and this is the last one), is an 800-case blend with some Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc added. An elegant, dark ruby/purple-colored wine with a sweet nose of espresso roast, dark black cherries, licorice, underbrush, and truffle in an elegant, full-bodied, rich, concentrated style, this wine should drink nicely for 12-15+ years. (RP)" (12/2007)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2008 Kistler "Silver Belt Vineyard - Cuvee Natalie" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95RP, 95ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Pinot Noir Cuvee Natalie Silver Belt, all from the Joseph Swan clone of Pinot Noir, offers rich forest floor, raspberry, spice box and earthy notes in a style that reminds me of a Burgundy premier cru from Volnay. This beautiful Pinot can be drunk now or cellared for a decade. (RP)" (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 O'Shaughnessy Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Dark red cherries, iron, crushed rocks, flowers and mint are all layered into the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder. Layers of bright underlying minerality and acidity give the 2010 much of its energy and sheer thrust. This is another exceptional wine, but readers will have to be patient. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2030. (AG) 97+" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $306.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 & 2015 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2012 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend ((96-98RP), 97JS, 95WS) and 1-bottle of 2015 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JD, 97JS, 95DC, 95RP, 94VN, 94WS). Of the 2012 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2012s made from Bordeaux varietals include their flagship wine, the 2012 Proprietary Red Les Pavots, a sensational blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. A prodigious effort, it rivals some of the fabulous past vintages such as 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2007. The inky/purple-colored 2012 boasts classic notes of crème de cassis, roasted coffee, vanilla bean, cedar, forest floor and blueberries. Full-bodied and complex with sweet tannin as well as hints of charcoal and camphor, this opulent, multi-leveled, Bor

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012-2013 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir Magnum Vertical, including 1-bottle of 2012 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (1.5L) (93WE, 92RP) and 1-bottle of 2013 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (1.5L) (94WE, 90WS). Of the 2013 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (1.5L),Wine Enthusiast writes: "Ripe and racy on the nose, this always much-anticipated release shows black raspberry, baked strawberry, wet cement, cinnamon and mace spice and cola on the nose. The palate is surprisingly, refreshingly restrained, with sizzling acidity cutting across the chocolate-dipped black cherries, baking spice, dried oregano and rosemary that show in the mid-palate. (MK)" (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Turley Petite Syrah Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2013 Turley "Hayne Vineyard" Napa Valley Petite Syrah (96RP, 96VN), 2-bottles of 2013 Turley "Library Vineyard" Napa Valley Petite Syrah (94RP, 94VN), and 1-bottle of 2013 Turley "Pesenti Vineyard" Paso Robles Petite Syrah (98RP, 96VN, 93WS). Of the 2013 Turley "Pesenti Vineyard" Paso Robles Petite Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2013 Petite Syrah Pesenti Vineyard is almost black/purple in color. This is another organic vineyard owned by Larry Turley, and the Petite Syrah was planted from cuttings from Napa’s Hayne Vineyard. The limestone soils here have produced what potentially could turn out to be one of the greatest Petite Syrahs ever made, rivaling some of the Ridge Petite Syrahs from the 1970s and 1980s. An absolutely amazing wine, but almost ferocious to taste at this point, the wine has concentration beyond belief. Inky black/purple, with stunning blueberry and floral notes
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (95CG, 95JS, 94W&S, 92RP, 92WE, 91VN, 91WS). James Suckling: "Bay leaf, dark fruits, and almonds on the nose. This wine is powerful, with a full body, and with flavors of mineral, mint, and lead pencil. I'm thinking Pauillac but tasting California. A very long finish, but needs some time." (04/2011)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2014 Avennia "Valery" Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 92JS, 92VN, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Right Bank-styled effort from this estate is the 2014 Valery (60/40 Merlot and Cabernet Franc), and it sports a deep ruby/purple-tinged color as well as a rounded, sexy style in its black cherry, plum, chocolate and earth-driven aromas and flavors. Expansive, full-bodied and downright sumptuous, drink this pleasure-bent beauty over the coming decade or more. (JD)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $171.00

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (98DC, 94RP, 94ST, 93VN). Decanter: "This has to be one of the wines of the vintage. More deft and cedary than the bigger boned 1986 vintage (also tasted), this is light delicate and elegant. Again, ink and spice on the nose, with stunning cedar and blackcurrant fruit with a touch of undergrowth, graphite and cigar box. Beautifully fresh with sublime melting tannins. (JS)" (11/2015)
Starting Bid: $181.00

Bid on this magnum of 2000 Taylor Vintage Port (1.5L) (98RP, 96WE, 95ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Among the most saturated blue/purple/black-colored examples of the vintage, Taylor's 2000 tastes like a young vintage of Chateau Latour on steroids. Aromas of graphite, blackberry liqueur, creme de cassis and smoke jump from the glass. Spectacularly concentrated and enormously endowed, with sweetness allied to ripe tannin, decent acidity, and layer upon layer of fruit and extract, this is the leading candidate for the port of the vintage. (RP)" (10/2002)
Starting Bid: $116.00

Bid on this 11-bottle lot of 1999 Domaine du Cayron Gigondas (92RP, (89-92ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The funky 1999 Gigondas possesses an opaque plum/purple color as well as kinky notes of incense, roasted meats, sausage, herbs, licorice, truffles, and black cherries. Its full-bodied and super-rich, with copious glycerin, no hard edges, and a 30+ second finish. This sumptuous, old style Gigondas is filled with personality. (RP)" (12/2001)
Starting Bid: $251.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (98RP, 96JS, 96WE, 96WS, 95DC, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Performing even better from bottle than it did from barrel, this appears to be the finest Lynch Bages since the 2000, 1990 and 1989. According to the château, the 2009 has the highest level of polyphenols ever measured as well as high alcohol (nearly 13.5%). A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest largely Merlot with touches of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it is an expressive, voluptuously textured effort with unctuosity and powerful, juicy, succulent blackberry and black currant flavors, low acids, a layered, massive mouthfeel, but no sense of heaviness or fatigue. This exquisite Lynch Bages should drink well for 30+ years. (RP)" (02/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac (100JS, 100RP, 98JD, 98WE, 97WS, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An absolutely amazing wine... It comes from one of the few biodynamic vineyards in Bordeaux, but you are likely to see many more, given the success that Tesseron seems to be having at all levels, both in his vineyards and in his fermentation/winemaking. An astounding, compelling wine with the classic Pauillac nose more often associated with its cross-street neighbor, Mouton-Rothschild, creme de cassis, there are also some violets and other assorted floral notes. The wine has off-the-charts massiveness and intensity but never comes across as heavy, overbearing or astringent. The freshness, laser-like precision, and full-bodied, massive richness and extract are simply remarkable to behold and experience. It is very easy, to become jaded tasting such great wines from a great vintage, but it is really a privilege to taste something as amazing as this. Unfortunately, it

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Radio-Coteau "Savoy Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir ((92-95VN), 92W&S). Vinous: "The 2014 Pinot Noir Savoy is exquisite. Dark, powerful and concentrated because of the low yields that year, the 2014 exudes richness and intensity, within the context of the Radio-Coteau style, of course. Dark red cherry, plum, violet notes flesh out, but the Savoy stands out for its power and structure. The Savoy is shaping up to be a real jewel of a wine. (AG)" (02/2016)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Thomas Fogarty Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir Horizontal, including 1-bottle of 2016 Thomas Fogarty "Rapley Trail-Henry Ayrton's Block" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir and 1-bottle of 2016 Thomas Fogarty "Razorback" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir.

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Ca' Rome' "Rio Sordo" Barbaresco (95W&S, 95WS, 92JS, 92VN). Wine Spectator: "A pristine red, displaying great clarity to the strawberry, cherry, rose and menthol flavors. By the time this evolves to the finish, the tannins make their mark, yet never overstep their bounds. In the end this is balanced, expressive and set to develop. (BS)" (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Saxum "G2" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97RP, 94VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted just after bottling and a final blend of 58% Mourvedre and 42% Grenache, the 2014 G2 Vineyard comes from a site just to the southeast of James Berry (this was formerly known as Gravity Hills Vineyard) that was planted in the late 1990s. The first release from Justin from this site, this beauty sports a deep ruby/purple color as well as a gorgeous, layered bouquet of cured meats, spice, mulled dark fruits, graphite and loads of this chalky minerality that also emerges on the palate. Rich, full-bodied, ultra-pure and impeccably balanced, this seamless, full-bore beauty will need 2-3 years to really shine, and keep for a decade or more after that. Drink through 2029. (JD)" (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2015 Dutton Estate "Karmen Isabella - Dutton Ranch" Russian River Pinot Noir (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Karmen Isabella Dutton Ranch opens with fragrant notes of violets and roses over a core of kirsch, wild blueberries and black raspberries plus a touch of forest floor. Medium-bodied and elegantly played in the mouth with soft, supple tannins and background freshness, it finishes on a savory note. (LPB)" (04/2018)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 9-bottle lot of 2017 Dehlinger Russian River Valley Chardonnay (92VN). Vinous: "Not surprisingly, in 2017 Dehlinger's Chardonnay Estate is quite racy and luscious. Orchard fruit, citrus confit, and wild flowers take on an extra level of sheer richness, while tropical accents add to the real feeling of exoticism. (AG)" (04/2020)
Starting Bid: $195.48

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Piccini "Villa Al Cortile" Brunello di Montalcino Riserva (OWC - 92JS) in original wood. James Suckling: "This is a very complex wine on the nose with ripe berry and cherry aromas, as well as underlying iodine. Full body, chewy tannins and a long, flavorful finish. Very rich and intense. Yet, it remains fresh. A more opulent style. Drink or hold." (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Aeris (Rhys) Carricante Etna Bianco Superiore (92RP, 91JD, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Etna Bianco Superiore is lovely, wafting from the glass with aromas of waxy lemon rind, rock salt and subtle blanched almond. On the palate, it's medium-bodied and very racy, tense and taut, with lovely energy and cut, concluding with a saline, mouthwatering finish. I'd expect it to put on weight with a year or two in bottle. (WK)" (05/2018)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Light Motif" Central Coast Proprietary White Blend (97RP, 95JD, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Starting with the whites and a rich, thrillingly concentrated and unctuous wine from Manfred, the 2014 White Wine Lightmotif is made from 47% Roussanne, 21% Chardonnay, 14% Petite Manseng, 11% Viognier and 7% Marsanne that spent 19 months in a combination of concrete eggs, new French oak, neutral barrels and a tiny portion in stainless steel. Coming from close to equal parts Eleven Confessions, Cumulus and Bien Nacido vineyards, this beauty sports a medium gold color to go with a rich, layered profile that carries tons of ripe peach, honeycomb, pineapple, flowers and citrus. Pure, elegant and silky on the palate, with full-bodied richness, it never puts a foot wrong, is ethereally textured and has a great finish. Drink it anytime over the coming decade. (JD)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $259.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Domaine des Chezeaux (Ponsot) Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru ((90-92BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An elegant and admirably pure nose offers up notes of red cherry, spice, violet and lavender along with hints of earth and forest floor. The supple and almost delicate flavors exude a subtle minerality on the delicious if mildly short finish that once again flirts with dryness. Like the Chambertin, the balance isn't quite correctly dialed in but my predicted range offers the benefit of the doubt that it will." (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $430.00

Bid on this magnum of 2016 Aubert "Larry Hyde and Sons Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay (1.5L) (97JD, (95-97RP), 97VN, 96WS). Vinous: "The 2016 Chardonnay Larry Hyde and Sons is so delicate, precise and nuanced. In 2016, the Hyde leans more towards the citrus end of the spectrum. Candied lemon peel and lifted floral notes are some of the signatures in this striking, beautifully delineated Chardonnay. In most vintages, Hyde tends to give a decidedly forward style of Chardonnay. Mark Aubert's 2016 is all finesse. (AG)" (04/2018)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Kistler "Trenton Roadhouse" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (94RP, 94ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Kistler’s 2010 Chardonnay Trenton Roadhouse is one of the bigger, richer wines in this lineup, but at the same time, there is a huge center of minerality running in the fruit. Orange blossoms, nectarines and tropical all make an appearance in this striking, totally exciting Chardonnay. At times, the Trenton Roadhouse appears to have the structure and frame of a red wine, yet all the elements are in the right place. The 2010 is a wonderfully complete, exciting wine from Steve Kistler. (AG)" (04/2013)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Peter Michael "Ma Belle-Fille" Knights Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 96JS, 92VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Chardonnay Ma Belle Fille has essentially the same aromatic and flavor profile as well as huge body and concentration that also characterized the 2015, with oodles of caramelized citrus and honeysuckle in its explosive aromatics and intense flavors. Both are fabulous Chardonnays like their siblings and should be drunk over the next 10-12 years. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1977 Graham's Vintage Port (93RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Graham is another great port house, producing one of the deepest-colored and sweetest styles of vintage port. Along with Taylor and Fonseca, Graham has probably been the most consistent producer of great port in the post- World War II era. Their tawnys are quite good rather than exceptional, but their vintage ports are truly sublime and sumptuous. (RP)" (01/1989)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2010 E. Guigal "Brune et Blonde" Côte-Rôtie (1.5L) (94WS, 93DC, 93RP, 93VN, 92ST). Wine Spectator: "Shows energy and range, with mouthwatering, briary tannins carrying the core of blackberry and plum paste notes. Fruitcake, pastis and alder details fill in the background. The sneakily long finish presents heft and cut. (JM)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $223.00

Bid on this 4-magnum lot of 2011 Domaine de Bila Haut "Occultum Lapidem" Côtes de Roussillon-Villages (1.5L) ((94-96RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Although these wines are normally reviewed by my colleagues David Schildknect in his Languedoc-Roussillon and Alsace reports and Lisa Perrotti-Brown in her reviews of Australian wines, I tasted them during my visit with Chapoutier, so I will include them in this report as they are of high quality and merit attention. I will just list the wines, my score, and the region from which they emerge." (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $176.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2007 La Bastide Saint Dominique "Secrets de Pignan" Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes (1.5L) (94RP, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The limited production, 350-case cuvee of 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Secrets de Pignan Vieilles Vignes reveals a darker ruby/purple hue in addition to notes of plums, pine forest needles, soy, and intense black cherry and black currant fruit. Opulent and full-bodied with silky tannins, stunning depth and texture, and a finish that lasts over 45 seconds, it is a blend of 95% Grenache and 5% Mourvedre from 90+-year-old vines. It is aged totally in stainless steel tanks. This cuvee comes from the famous lieu-dit of Pignan, the same area where the renowned Chateau Rayas is located. (RP)" (10/2009)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-magnum lot of 1997 Bodegas Mauro Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y Leon (1.5L). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Ruby-purple. Violet, cassis, blackberry, black cherry, bitter chocolate and thyme aromas. Bright, penetrating and on the lean side, with strong acidity. The floral note repeats on the palate. Juicy, vigorous and very primary; quite firm, even a bit hard, for the region. Finishes with firm tannins and subtle sweetness of berry fruit. (ST)" (11/1999)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Viader Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend ((92-94VN), 93JS, 93RP, 90CG). Vinous: "Bright, medium ruby-red. Brooding aromas of cassis, black cherry, minerals, smoke and licorice are lifted by a violet topnote. Densely packed, ripe and seamless, with lovely depth and complexity to its claret-like flavors of currant, minerals and tobacco leaf. Really spreads out to saturate the palate on the long back end, which features building tannins and persistent sweetness of fruit. This very harmonious wine promises to be fat and rich for Viader's flagship blend. (ST)" (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 1995 Prieuré de St-Jean de Bébian Coteaux du Languedoc (1.5L) (93ST, 92WS, 90RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Saturated ruby-red. Vibrant, perfumed, Cote-Rotie-like aromas of black raspberry, toasted marshmallow, lead pencil, leather, smoke and pepper, plus a hint of crystallized berries. Intensely flavored but still rather backward; sappy violet and pepper flavor. Offers lovely lightness of touch. Wonderful expanding aftertaste is firm, long and youthful. (ST)" (07/1998)

Silky and open-knit, offering bitter cherry and spicecake flavors and a building suggestion of smokiness. Clings nicely on a long, smoke-tinged finish that features gentle tannins and an echo of candied flowers. This ready-to-drink wine, fermented in stainless steel and aged in used American oak barrels for two years, is imported exclusively in magnums. (JR)" (11/2015)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1997 Tardieu-Laurent Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 1997 Tardieu-Laurent "Coteaux" Cornas ((90-92RP), 91VN) and 1-bottle of 1997 Tardieu-Laurent Châteauneuf-du-Pape ((91-94RP)). Of the 1997 Tardieu-Laurent Châteauneuf-du-Pape,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "When it comes to decadently rich, full throttle southern Rhone wines, the 1997 Chateauneuf du Pape satisfies those criteria. A star of the vintage for the appellation, it is a shapely, full-bodied, voluptuously-textured wine bursting with black raspberry fruit intermixed with kirsch liqueur, pepper, cedar, and roasted herb scents and flavors. There is tremendous viscosity and length, as well as low acidity in this full-flavored, expansive, super-concentrated Chateauneuf. (RP)" (02/1999)

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2010 Waterstone Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (92JS). James Suckling: "I almost mistook this for an outstanding 2010 Bordeaux but it's Waterstone, which always offers excellent value for Napa Cab.
