2005 Duhart-Milon, Pauillac
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Duhart-Milon, Pauillac (93RP, 93WS, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This property, which has benefitted enormously from tremendous investments from the Rothschild family that owns Lafite, has turned out a dense purple-colored wine in 2005. Offering broad, expansive, supple and silky tannin as well as loads of Asian plum sauce, blackcurrants, and sweet cherries, this wine is seductive, medium to full-bodied, and luscious. This successful effort from the Rothschilds should continue to drink well for at least another two decades. (RP)" (06/2015)

2014 Maybach "Amoenus" Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Maybach "Amoenus" Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Amoenus comes from a western hillside vineyard near Calistoga that is actually cooler than the general area. This wine always exhibits plenty of crushed rock, wet gravel minerality, notes of forest floor, spring flowers and copious quantities of blackberry and crème de cassis with a hint of lead pencil shavings and pen ink. The 2014 is dense and full-bodied, but with low acidity and ripe well-integrated tannin. It is strutting its stuff, however it should be even better with 5-7 years of bottle age and last 25-30 years. They produce 330 cases of this glorious wine that tips the scales at 14.7% natural alcohol. (RP)" (10/2016)

2007 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2007 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) (100JD, 100RP, 98WS, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Utter perfection, and one of the most profound Rhone Ranger wines I have ever tasted. As with many prodigious wines, the extraordinary freshness, purity, equilibrium, and singularity of this effort is breathtaking. Its dense purple color is accompanied by an extraordinary, incredibly pure, all enveloping, intense, sweet nose of black raspberries, kirsch, spring flowers, spice box, and pepper. Full-bodied with not a hard edge to be found, it is stunningly concentrated with unreal purity, a voluptuous texture, and remarkable freshness for a wine of such power, depth, and concentration. 2002 Louis Jadot Chambertin Grand Cru
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Louis Jadot Chambertin Grand Cru. Stephen Tanzer writing in Vinous on the 2002 vintage: "2002 is a classical, beautifully balanced vintage with captivating sweet fruit, pliant texture and seductive charm. The wines are delivering on their early promise—and it’s always nice to be able to say that about a Burgundy vintage. If anything, the 2002s are evolving more slowly than I had originally predicted. Wines that I would have expected to be at their best 12 to 15 years after the vintage are in no danger of falling apart anytime soon; on the contrary, many of the better 2002s I tasted this fall were just embarking on their planes of peak drinkability and some still need to be held. … Judging from the bottles I have enjoyed in recent months, the 2002s are evolving beautifully and many of them still have glorious years ahead." 2010 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 99JS, 98VN, 96DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, the stunning, full-bodied 2010 Dominus boasts an exceptional perfume of hoisin sauce, licorice, underbrush, forest floor, plums, black currants and jammy cherries intertwined with hints of cedar, baking spices and oak. Full-bodied and voluptuously textured, the 2010 is on a slightly faster evolutionary track than the 2009 (somewhat of an anomaly for these two vintages). This exquisite as well as prodigious 2010 can be drunk young, but it should age effortlessly for 20-25 years. Bravo! (RP)" (10/2013)

2007 Seven Stones Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Seven Stones Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Very deep purple-black in color, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon has a remarkable youthful nose of crushed blackcurrants, black cherries and wild blueberries with hints of baking spices, cigar box, violets, rose hip tea, yeast extract and crushed stones. Full-bodied, richly fruited and packed with opulent black berries and exotic spice flavors, the palate is wonderfully structured with very firm, super ripe tannins and just enough freshness, finishing very long and layered. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1989 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (97JD, 97RP, 97WS, 93JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1989 is inkier/purple in color than the 1990, with an extraordinarily sweet, rich personality offering up notes of smoke, melted licorice, black cherries, Asian spices, and cassis. Full-bodied and concentrated, it is one of the most powerful as well as highly extracted Beaucastels I have ever tasted. 2013 The Mascot Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 The Mascot Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. The grapes for this wine come from younger vines on the Harlan and Bond estates and is spearheaded by Bill Harlan's son, Will. From the producer: "Although I grew up running around the winery, hand-turning de-stemmers, and eating grapes off the vines in our backyard, I never thought I’d discover my own passion in making wine. My family has been in the business longer than I’ve been around, but it was only a handful of years ago that curiosity led me beyond the event horizon of this world. It began with the experience of learning the complexities of blending wine in 2008, and progressed steadily until I found myself working in the cellar, handling barrel fermentation throughout the harvest. Made from the younger vines of Harlan Estate, BOND, and Promontory, The Mascot shares a unique glimpse into the evolution of our winegrowing estates. The Mascot began early on as an experiment, after talking the family and winema

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Chapelle-Chambertin will thrill readers who admire cool, inward Burgundies built for the long haul. The 2008 Chapelle is tight, powerful and vibrant but also immensely gifted in its fresh, vibrant perfume and clean, mineral-laced fruit. All of the elements are in place for this to develop into a splendid, hugely rewarding wine, but patience is the key. Anticipated maturity: 2023-2048. (AG)" (05/2011)

Vinous: "(an assemblage of parcels, including 60% from the cooler, minerally Pernand side of the appellation): Bright, pale yellow-green. Vivacious aromas of white peach, lime blossom, menthol and crushed rock. Dense, tactile and adamantly dry, with excellent acidity giving a light touch and an early tightness to the lemon and lime flavors. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aged in 100% new French oak for 17 months and in bottle for 14 months prior to release, the 2004 Opus One is a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. It boasts a dense ruby/purple color along with a sweet bouquet of lead pencil shavings, black currants and a hint of toasty oak. More evolved than usual, this full-bodied, opulent 2004 is part of the new wave of Opus Ones made under the administration of Philippe Dhalluin, the administrator of Mouton Rothschild, who has begun to exploit this estate’s enormous potential. Full-bodied, with ultrapolished tannins and a silky mouthfeel. The palate turns to leaves, cedar and dried berries on the finish, which goes on and on. This is still reserved for the vintage, suggesting a long life ahead. Just coming around now, but will improve many years ahead. I have always loved this Lynch. (JS, Web Only-2010)"

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Pape Clément, Pessac-Léognan (100RP, 98JS, 95WS, 93DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "(Hedonist's Gazette, Apr 2016): The red wine flight was a colossal showing for the 2009s, with perfect wines from Cos d'Estournel, La Mission Haut-Brion, Smith Haut Lafitte, Pape Clément and Haut-Brion. These amazing wines are not only showing their individual, singular terroir characteristics at age six, but the luxurious, extravagant richness and body of this vintage...One expects the Mission Haut-Brion, Haut-Brion and Pape Clément to hit the highest points in a vintage like this - and they did. 2004 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 98WE, 98WS, 97ST, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another rating identical to that which was given in 2007 (when first tasted from bottle), the 2004 Harlan Estate is performing essentially the way I suggested in 2007 as it is one of the more precocious and accessible of the Harlan Estate wines to date. A great showing at this retrospective, this wine, which seems like a hypothetical blend of a Pauillac, St.-Estephe and Graves, represents around 1,500 cases from 40 acres of beautifully manicured hillside vineyards overlooking Oakville. Still dense purple to the rim, with notes of creme de cassis, charcoal, blackberry and sweet toast, the wine is full-bodied and voluptuously textured with the tannins largely resolved. But the density and richness suggest this wine can go a long, long way, even though the window for drinking it seems open and inviting already. A world-class, first-growth wine if there ever w

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 99RP, 98JD, 98VN, 96WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon leaps from the glass with gorgeous floral notes of red roses and lilacs over a core of black and red cherries, crushed black currants and baking spices plus hints of iron ore and dusty earth. The voluptuous, rounded, soft and sexy fruit slinks across the palate with incredible seamlessness and expression. Make no mistake, it is full-bodied and decadently powerful, but with a myriad of aromatic nuances, finishing long, layered and boldly perfumed. (LPB)" (10/2017)

1931 Viuva José Gomes da Silva & Filhos Colares Reserva Tinto
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1931 Viuva José Gomes da Silva & Filhos Colares Reserva Tinto. The little-known region of Colares enjoyed a brief time in the sun in the first few decades of the 20th century, as it was one of the few European wine regions to escape the ravages of phylloxera, thanks to its sandy soils and coastal climate. The also little-known Ramisco varietal is and was the resident grape for the region's winemakers. Gomes da Silva & Filhos is undoubtedly the most famous and most widely available producer from this region, with vintages from the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s routinely wowing collectors and geeks across the online wine community (just check out the threads on Cellar Tracker and Wine Berserkers to get a sense of what these wines are capable of). 1999 Chapoutier Ermitage "L'Ermite" Blanc
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1999 Chapoutier Ermitage "L'Ermite" Blanc (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is one of the greatest dry white wines I have ever tasted. The 1999 Ermitage l'Ermite is a liquid mineral, crystalline expression. It is the essence of its grape as well as terroir. It may be the greatest expression of terroir I have seen outside of a handful of Alsatian Rieslings (Clos Ste. Hune comes to mind). It has that transparent character that terroiristes talk more about than actually recognize. Drinking it is like consuming a liquified stony concoction mixed with white flowers, licorice, and honeyed fruits. It is frightfully pure, dense, and well-delineated. As I said last year, "There is no real fruit character, just glycerin, alcohol, and liquid stones." That's about it, but, wow, what an expression! Anticipated maturity: 2012-2050. This is for the connoisseur of rare wines. Along with Gerard and Jean-Louis Chave, Chapoutier is producing the finest expressions

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Montrose, St-Estèphe (100JS, 100RP, 98DC, 98VN, 97WS, 96WE, (93-95JG)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Harvested between September 17 and October 5, this wine seems always open for business, so to speak, much like the great 1982s. The summer of 2009 was very hot and dry, which got the harvest off to a reasonably early start. The blend was 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. Jean Bernard Delmas’ goal was to find perfect equilibrium between freshness and concentration, given its incredible opulence and the voluptuous character this vintage offered. That’s what this wine has in abundance. With an astounding dense purple color, the wine has velvety, sweet tannins, and an extremely open-knit and opulent blueberry, blackberry and creme de cassis nose. There is scorched earth, vanilla and, again, telltale licorice and spice. It is unctuously textured – thicker and juicier than the 2010 and more forward. This wine should

2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard, which will probably be released in a few months, displays great minerality, notes of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, poached pear, and white flowers as well as a touch of quince. A wine of great intensity, yet incredibly ethereal elegance, this light greenish gold-colored wine is full-bodied, stunningly rich, and altogether remarkable. When you consider that they use 100% new French oak and 100% heavy toast for both their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, it is remarkable how little oak appears in these wines. This wine should age well for 10-15 years, as most of the Marcassin Estate Chardonnays have done to date. (RP)" (03/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "La Chapelle" Hermitage (98JS, 98RP, 95ST, 95WS). Much more sexy, voluptuous and layered than the 2010, the 2009 Hermitage la Chapelle offers sensational levels of extract and concentration to go with notes of cassis, black raspberries, coffee bean, toasted bread and sweet spice. Beautifully pure, layered, and yet massively endowed, with sweet tannin, it will be drinkable at an earlier age than the 2010, but I suspect will be just as long lived. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Brane-Cantenac, Margaux (95RP, 94WE, 92WS, 91ST). Soft tannin, full-bodied opulence and beautifully textured, lush richness, make for a brilliant wine from this large, 180-acre vineyard. Bid on this bottle of 2007 Pierre Gonon St-Joseph Vieilles Vignes (93JG, 91WS). John Gilman: "The Trollat family still owns their parcel of vines in St. Joseph that are now leased out to the Gonon family and on occasion, Jean Gonon will make one barrel of old vines St. Joseph as a tribute to Raymond Trollat. This was the case in 2007, when this superb St. Joseph was produced. The complex bouquet on this wine is flat out beautiful, offering up scents of dark berries, cassis, a touch of grilled meat, espresso, lovely minerality, gentle smokiness and an exotic topnote of lavender. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very precise on the attack, with a suave palate impression, a fine core, ripe, chewy tannins and outstanding length and grip on the poised and very well-balanced finish. When I last drank this wine in 2014, it still needed a few years in the cellar to soften up properly, but should be starting to drink with more generosity today. Drink between 2017-2040. 93+" (06/2

2012 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98RP, 96WS, 95VN, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is brilliant. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, mostly from the famous Champoux Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills, it was aged all in new oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered. It offers a captivating bouquet of black cherry liqueur and cassis-like fruit, Asian spice, coffee bean and lead pencil shavings to go with a full-bodied, ripe, seamless and hedonistic style on the palate. One of the more approachable, opulent examples of this cuvee, it has no hard edges, plenty of tannin and a massive, heady finish. Drink now through 2032. (JD)" (06/2015)

2013 Peter Michael "Belle Côte" Knights Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Peter Michael "Belle Côte" Knights Valley Chardonnay (99RP, 94JS, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chardonnay Belle Côte, which I had tentatively rated 95 to 97, has turned out to be flirting with perfection. Production was nearly 1,000 cases less than the 2014! Displaying an almost stony liqueur of rocks, lemon butter, and white peach, this is a full-bodied, intense wine with loads of tangerine oil, pineapple jam and that wet stone minerality that runs through it. This extremely massive, rich, super-concentrated wine blew me away in my tasting at the winery. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JS, 97RP, 97VN, 96CG, 96JD, 96WE, 95DC). Vinous: "The 2014 Insignia has turned out beautifully. Finely sculpted, nuanced and classic in structure, the 2014 is built on a core of energy and brightness. There is a level of purity and delineation in the flavors that is remarkable. Bright red cherry, lavender, rose petal and graphite add to the wine's sculpted personality. The 2014 is not an obvious or especially opulent Insignia, but rather a wine that makes its case with its impeccable balance. A closing flourish of bright, floral notes adds the final shades of nuance. (AG)" (03/2018)

The quintessential Woodbridge wine, it is busting with sensuality, exuding enormous fruit, and built like a skyscraper. Abundant notes of cassis and the soft, velvety tannins are fabulous. 2010 Kosta Browne "Keefer Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Kosta Browne "Keefer Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (94CG, 93ST, 93WS). Connoisseurs Guide: "If at first a bit lighter and hinting of fresh raspberries, cherries and candied violets in the nose, this lovely Pinot proves to be surprisingly juicy and energetically fruity in flavor with lots of depth and a real sense of grace. Its subtle oak is wholly obeisant to fruit, and it is both rich and very lively. It is a fine and vibrant expression of what Russian River Valley Pinot can be, and it affords both delicious drinking now and potential for four or five years of growth. *Two Stars*" (10/2012)

2014 Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2014 Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95DC, 93JS, 92RP). Decanter: "The estate known today as Freemark Abbey was established in 1886 by one of the first female wine-growers in Napa. Today Ted Edwards is head winemaker, working for the past three decades to develop relationships with growers, allowing exclusive sourcing rights to specific plots, which is crucial to the winery’s success. This wine has been aged for 28 months in a mixture of French and American oak. Stephen Brook: Powerful blackcurrant nose, with slightly charred oak. Very rich without being jammy, it packs a punch. An assertive and very youthful style, but good acidity and tannins mean this should go the distance. Alex Hunt MW: A bit Port-like on the nose to begin with, but there is good depth and the brightness increases in the glass. The palate is succulent, appealing, and has potential to age. Very good. Stefan Neumann MS: Intense, youthful and fruit-forward nose. This is soft

2009 Kistler "Cuvée Elizabeth - Bodega Headlands" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Kistler "Cuvée Elizabeth - Bodega Headlands" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (96VN, 95RP, 95ST, 92WS). Vinous: "Both 2009 Pinots are striking. The Pinot Noir Silver Belt Vineyard Cuvée Natalie is lifted, savory and aromatic, while the Bodega Headlands Vineyard Cuvée Elizabeth is more overt and fruit-driven in style. Both wines remain quite primary, though, so readers who prefer more tertiary nuances will want to give the 2009s a few more years in the cellar. I am down to my last few bottles, and hope to have the patience to wait for the wines to enter their sweet spot. (AG)" (01/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2015 San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (98DC, 98JS, 97RP, 97WE, 97WS, 95VN). James Suckling: "Love the aromas to this young red with blackcurrants, sage, cinnamon and five-spice character. Changes all the time. Full-bodied, dense and powerful with a ripe and rich tannin backbone that gives form and beauty to the ripe and beautiful fruit. Tight and very long. Approachable now but will reward more in five to six years. A classic Sassicaia." (01/2018)

2012 Dunn "Trailer Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Dunn "Trailer Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon ((97-98JS), 98RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Their one-off sort of bottling is the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Trailer Vineyard, which is the original vineyard that Randy Dunn purchased in 1978 and replanted in 2013, so this was made from old vines. There are only 11 barrels of this wine, which is under 300 cases. This is fabulous wine with an almost essence of the Dunn style. With a murky purple color, a huge nose of white flowers intermixed with mulberry and blackberry liqueur, licorice, smoked meats and charcoal, the wine has huge density and massive extraction, but wonderfully sweet tannin, and plenty of it. This is a multidimensional, fabulous effort. This should drink well for 30-50 years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Both should drink well for 7-10 years. (RP)" (03/2016)

It is an estate-grown blend of 56% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon and 16% Malbec. Rich and concentrated, it’s delightfully robust and vibrant, offering a mix of blackberry, blueberry and caramel chocolate flavors that finish in soft, integrated oak. *Editors’ Choice* (VB)" (03/2018)
