2018 Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé

89-92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Still in tank at the end of February, Tempier's 2018 Bandol Rose marks another successful vintage for this consistent standout. It's light to medium-bodied, not overly ripe or rich, but all about balance and refreshment. Tangerine and melon aromas and flavors hit all the right notes, lingering on the already elegant finish. 2018 Vignoble Dragon "La Belle Helene" Côtes de Provence Rosé (1.5L)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Cotes de Provence Rose La Belle Helene contains a bit of Rolle, which perhaps accounts for its aromas of grapefruit and white currants. It's light to medium-bodied on the palate, loaded with tart, citrusy flavors that extend through the finish. (JC)" (04/2019) Wine Enthusiast: "This soft, rounded wine is warm with ripe red-berry fruits and a lightly peppery character. It is full bodied, balanced with strawberry fruitiness at the end. 2018 Château Pradeaux Bandol Rosé

There is the appellation of Bandol with its plethora of producers, some good, some mediocre; and then there is Château Pradeaux, the unique, inimitable, standard bearer for this ancient wine-growing district. Pradeaux is situated on the outskirts of the town of St. Cyr Sur Mer, which lies directly on the Mediterranean between Toulon and Marseilles. The estate is owned by the Portalis family who have owned this property since before the French Revolution. The domaine is currently under the direction of Cyrille Portalis, who continues to maintain the great ...

2018 Domaine des Côtes Blanches Sancerre Rosé (1.5L)

Made by the Millet family who have been running the estate for five generations. Vigneron Nicolas Millet has taken the helm of this family operation, originally established in the 1930s, and began moving the winemaking toward organics in 2008. Nicolas makes wonderful blancs and rouges but the rosé is always a standout in the category. The Côtes Blanches refers to the stony white soils found on the slopes of Sancerre in the heart of France. This is the homeland of light, delicate Pinot Noir, made into fresh reds and elegant rosés. The Sancerre Rosé is aro ...

A blend of 60% Syrah, 10% Cinsault, and 30% Grenache, the unusual indigo-colored bottle is utilized as a UV filter in order to maintain the wine's fresh profile for as long as possible. The is a delicious and sensual rosé with an exotic perfume of candied violets, lilies, and strawberries.

2015 Honorio Rubio "Lias Finas" Rosado Rioja

Honorío Rubio is a Riojano white and rosé specialist. In a land best known for its incredibly age-worthy reds, among many die-hards out there it is undoubtedly the traditional whites which represent Rioja's finest and most original wines. We would add as well the barrel aged rosés, which are incredibly rare (Lopez de Heredia's has not been available for over 5 years, and we hear that they will finally have a little bit of the next release, 2008, in 2018!) Honorío makes an absolutely killer rosé, from some of his oldest Viura and Garnacha, briefly macerat ...

2018 Heitz Cellar Napa Valley Grignolino Rosé

The rule around the Heitz house has long been that the rosé must be ready by Easter! Wine enthusiasts have shared the Heitz Family's affection for this unique wine since 1961. The Grignolino (pronounced green-o-lean-o) Rosé is produced with a northern Italian varietal, known in the Piedmont region as the "little strawberry." The original vineyard, since replanted to the Heitz home ranch, was called by its former owner, "The Only One." This rosé is fruity and enticing, but very dry on the palate, just the thing for spring salads with goat cheese or Sunday ...

Chêne Bleu is a unique Château, situated on an outcropping of limestone known as the Dentelles de Montmirail on the slopes of Mont Ventoux. A standout in the area because of both its elevation and its strong limestone soils, this unique property has been in operation since the ninth century. Purchased in the 1990s by Xavier and Nicole Rolet, the Château has been completely updated with a new gravity flow winery and the vineyards have been re-invigorated and switched over to biodynamic farming. 2018 Lucien Crochet Sancerre Rosé

White Sancerre is justly famous, winning fans with its stony, racy, Sauvignon Blanc self. Red Sancerre is not as well known, though many wine insiders appreciate the more feminine side of Pinot Noir made here, showing deft balance between fruit and structure, ripeness and acidity. Pink Sancerre is more obscure yet, and that is a shame, because when made as it is by the father and son team of Lucien and Gilles Crochet, it manages what so little rosés can: subtlety. This pink is consistently one of our summertime favorites. Made entirely from Pinot Noir, t ...

2018 Château de la Noblesse Bandol Rosé (1.5L)

The 2018 Château de la Noblesse Bandol Rosé has yet to be reviewed, but Josh Raynolds gave the 2017 vintage 90 points along with this review: "Light, vivid orange. Pungent, mineral-accented blood orange and red berry scents, with a subtle floral note in the background. Juicy and focused on the palate, offering raspberry and lavender flavors that are braced by a refreshingly bitter citrus pith note. Shows very good clarity and persistence on the finish, which leaves a dusty mineral note behind."

2018 Robert Sinskey Estate Carneros Vin Gris of Pinot Noir

93 points Decanter: "Robert Sinskey Vineyards is synonymous with exciting and captivating wines, from the sought-after Abraxas Vin de Terroir Alsatian White to ageworthy Pinot Noirs and red blends. Its Los Carneros vineyards at the bottom of the Mt Veeder AVA provide excellent conditions for rosé. This Vin Gris of Pinot Noir captures the vibrancy and generosity of the 2018 growing season and, given the expertise of the team, you can expect a high energy profile with aromas of cherry blossom, yuzu zest and stone fruits, finishing with zippy acidity. 2018 Commanderie de la Bargemone "Marina" Coteaux d'Aix en Provence Rosé

91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Citrus, strawberry and kiwi fruit appear on the nose of the 2018 Cuvee Marina Rose. A pale pink blend of 35% Grenache, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Syrah, and 10% Counoise, it's medium-bodied and fine, elegantly structured and long, without any of the leafy Cabernet elements but showing some of that variety's hallmark restraint. 2018 Domaine du Bagnol Cassis Rosé

This rosé comes from a handful of parcels that total seven hectares of vineyards planted in clay and limestone soils, on a gentle north-northwest-facing slope. Grenache-dominated, with smaller percentages of Mourvedre and Cinsault. Like the Cassis Blanc, the wine is taut, fresh and slightly saline. The winery makes only a small quantity of this, making this extremely hard to find, but its deliciousness makes it highly sought after. Get yours before it's gone.

2017 Clos Cibonne Tibouren "Cuvée Speciale des Vignettes" Côtes de Provence Rosé

Notes from the Importer: "The heart of Clos Cibonne is Tibouren. The Roux family are great fans of this native varietal and believed it to be the ideal grape for the region. As part of the estate’s revitalization in the 1930s, André Roux replaced all of the estate’s Mourvèdre with Tibouren. Clos Cibonne soon became synonymous with Tibouren and received special permission from the A.O.C. to list the grape on its labels. After his death in 1797, the property was sold to the Roux family's ancestors. In the 1930s, André Roux planted the vineyard to the Tibouren grape varietal. Since then, both children and grandchildren have carried on the tradition. This rosé is a blend of 35% Grenache, 35% Cinsault, 20% Mourvèdre, and 10% Syrah. From the importer: "Viticulture and vinification at Clos Sainte Magdeleine is under the direction of François Sack. The domaine bottles both a white and a rosé, the latter of which is especially limited. 2016 Château Musar Rosé Bekaa Valley

Château Musar is Lebanon's most famous producer. The winery does not make rosé every vintage, because the winemaker (the late Serge Hochar) sought very specific characteristics from the grapes he uses to create a fine, delicate and elegant rosé. The 2016 is composed of the indigenous Lebanese grapes Obaideh (55-65%) and Merwah (30-40%), thought to be ancestors of Chardonnay and Semillon, and a small amout of Cinsault.
