Orval Trappist Ale, Belgium (11.2 oz)

96 points Wine Enthusiast: "One of the most iconic Trappist beers, this pours a gorgeous golden-orange color, with a large, frothy off-white head that lingers. Bottled with brettanomyces, you can immediately pick up on the wonderfully complex, dry, funky earth and barnyard notes, with additional aromas of orange peel, green apple, gingered white tea, yeasty spice and freshly baked bread. The medium-bodied mouthfeel boasts bright, fizzy carbonation and refreshing acidity, making the palate seem light and approachable. It finishes dry and spicy, with flavo ...

2014 De Struise Brouwers "Pannepot Reserva" Old Fishermans Ale Aged in Oak Casks, Belgium (11.2oz)

From the brewery: "At Struise, we love all the beers we make. However, if there should be only one that we should call our ‘flagship’ with right and reason, it’s Pannepot. After a lifetime of brewing tasty, but ‘safer’ beers, this was our first venture into a world of extremities and has a great deal of responsibility in making us into what we are today. This ‘Old Fisherman’s Ale,’ named after the fishing trawlers on which men would risk life and limb to feed their families, sits somewhere in between a Belgian strong dark ale and a stout. It pours a lusc ...

Brouwerij De Molen "Hel & Verdoemenis" Imperial Stout, Netherlands (330ml)

Brewer Menno Olivier brings 12 years of experience to his Brouwerij De Molen, which translates to "The Mill Brewery," as the operation is located in a 300-year-old windmill. He began brewing in his kitchen as a hobby, went on to brew in Westmaas and Amsterdam, and then served as master brewer of De Pelgrim, a Rotterdam city brewery. It was during his time as master brewer that he decided to open a brewery of his own, so he created De Molen in the town of Bodegraven, about 30 km north of Rotterdam. This 'Hell and Damnation' beer is an imperial stout rank ...

Dugges Bryggeri "Coffee Vanilla Black" Imperial Stout w/ Coffee & Vanilla, Sweden (330ml)

This flavored beer is a layered dream! It’s sweetly soft from the malts. It’s robust from da Matteo roasted Colombian Tabi coffee. And, it’s made elegant by the addition of plush vanilla. Serve black! Here at Dugges we love doing big luxurious stouts. We love doing coffee stouts. And, we love Vanilla. Evil Twin / Westbrook "Mission Gose" Gose Brewed w/ Eucalyptus, Denmark (12oz cans)

From the brewery: "Effortlessly cool, popping up up in a cultish fashion and constantly on a tasty mission. This is mission Gose: our take on a old-fashioned and slightly odd German style beer that is with good reason trending as the tastiest right now. It’s tart, salty, low in alcohol and probably the most refreshing beer you’ll have. Perhaps enjoy this beer in a restaurant with a mission near you. Wherever you are we made it stylishly good and exclusively well balanced just for you."

Brouwerij Boon Framboise, Belgium (375ml)

From the brewery: "Raspberry lambic was once a rarity and only produced for a few weeks during the summer. Frank Boon was the first brewer to again prepare a raspberry lambic in the summer of 1976. More than 300 grams per litre of fresh raspberries give Framboise Boon a fresh fruity taste. The young lambic supports the flavour. But this is very much about raspberries, not the lambic. Of course we do not use artificial flavourings, only real raspberries. Boon Framboise has an alcohol volume of 5%. Drink it when it is young."

To Øl "One Ton of - Pineapple" Imperial Berliner Weisse w/ Pineapple, Denmark (500ml cans)

Pineapple is one of those fruits that are loved and hated. Amazing in a Pina Colada, decent in a fruit salad, outright disgraceful on pizza. To Ol put it in a beer - they put A LOT of it in a beer. In the glass, 1 Ton of Pineapple might look like a hazy IPA but fear not, it's just pineapple juice.

Brasserie D'achouffe "Houblon" IPA, Belgium (330ml)

From the brewery: "he gnomes of Fairyland may be little, but they have big, very big, personalities. HOUBLON CHOUFFE matches their impish spirits. All gnomes, with their innate good taste, are in full agreement about HOUBLON CHOUFFE, which is flavoured by three different types of hops. This India Pale Ale is appreciated for its pronounced bitterness combined with the fruity tones of traditional Achouffe beers: it softens the strongest of characters.""

This "old brown" is a brewer flagship, and a typical beer style for the region in which it is produced. Each vessel is sampled separately and blended to taste, so as to obtain the perfect combination.
