Bid on this bottle of 1975 Marchese Prioli Barbaresco.
Starting Bid: $30.00

Bid on this bottle of 1975 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (93VN, 93WS, 92RP). Vinous: "The 1975 Pichon-Lalande has long been one of my favorite vintages from the decade, and this recent example attests that it is holding up. It has a beautiful bouquet of red berry fruit, roasted chestnut, leather and sage, utterly harmonious and showing commendable vitality after 43 years. The palate is medium-bodied with melted tannin. It is quite savory in style and the Merlot is fully in control, to the extent that it feels almost Right Bank in style. Maybe you could quibble about the slight metallic finish; nevertheless, if intent on buying a Left Bank from this vintage, I would probably come here. Tasted at a vertical tasting at the château. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1975 Graham's Vintage Port. Robert Parker on Graham: "Graham is another great port house, producing one of the deepest-colored and sweetest styles of vintage port. Along with Taylor and Fonseca, Graham has probably been the most consistent producer of great port in the post- World War II era. Their tawnys are quite good rather than exceptional, but their vintage ports are truly sublime and sumptuous."
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this bottle of 1975 Gaja "Sori Vagnona" Barbera. This rare Barbera is from the region's earlier beginnings as a serious red wine appellation for Barbaresco. For the most part, Barbaresco was pretty much living in near total obscurity until the 1960s, when Giovanni Gaja (Angelo's father) began proving what could come of these vineyards. In the '70s, his son Angelo introduced single-vineyard offerings, and the rest is Italian wine history! Gaja's Barbera wines can be just as stunning in their own right.
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this bottle of 1975 Pio Cesare Barolo. Pio Cesare is a wine producer in Piedmont, Italy, particularly known for its elegant Barolo and Barbaresco wines. The estate was founded in 1881 by Cesare Pio, and is one of the oldest in the region and one of the first to export. It is still owned and run by his descendants.
Starting Bid: $60.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1975 Ducru-Beaucaillou, St-Julien (93VN, 90DC). Vinous: "The 1975 Ducru Beaucaillou is a vintage that I had not encountered for 15 years but my God, what a wonderful wine! Surely the best between 1970 and 1982, the 1975 is beautifully balanced with ample fruit on the quite precocious nose that is more akin to a 1982 or 1985. Certainly unlike some of its more esteemed counterparts, this 1975 shows no signs of drying out or hard tannins, one of the best I have encountered for some time. (NM)" (05/2018)
