1997 Joseph Phelps Napa Valley Delice du Semillon (375ml)

94 points Robert Parker: "The 1997 Delice du Semillon is a decadently rich, unctuous, exceptionally pure and sweet wine that will thrill nectar lovers. This wine resembles a full-bodied Sauternes. It should drink well for another decade." (12/98) 93 points Wine Spectator: "Ultrarich and figlike, with spicy pear, honey, yeast, dough and butter flavors that turn seductive and rich on the finish. Drink now through 2007." (11/2000) 91-92 points Stephen Tanzer: "Livelier, more floral aromas of citrus peel, grapefruit and spicy oak. Less viscous and honeyed ...

1997 Dow's Vintage Port (375mL)

94 points Wine Enthusiast: "Mouthfilling and round, without any sharp edges, but this wine remains extremely firm and dense, with several decades of life ahead of it. Dried fig, chocolate and black licorice flavors only hint at what lies ahead." (03/2008) 94 points Wine Spectator: "Blackberry and plum character. Full-bodied, velvety and balanced. Lovely velvety tannins, sweet and long. Soft-textured yet fresh and racy. A beauty. This is would be better with a little more age, but already pretty. (JS, Web-2008)"

1997 Fonseca Vintage Port (375ml)

93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Somewhat of a lightweight for Fonseca, but undeniably charming, this dark ruby/purple-colored wine offers a floral, exotic, flamboyant bouquet, a sweet, fleshy style, but not a great deal of weight or massiveness. Heady alcohol, sweet tannin, and a velvety texture make for a gorgeous finish. While I would have preferred to have seen more weight, structure, and intensity, this is an outstanding, albeit lighter than normal Fonseca. Anticipated maturity: now-2020. 1997 Ducru-Beaucaillou, St-Julien (375ml)

According to Robert Parker: "A classy, complex bouquet of lead pencil, mineral, earth, cassis, and flowers jumps from the glass of this dark ruby/purple-colored 1997. Evolved and elegant, with noticeable tannin, it exhibits both breed and class as well as moderate weight, excellent depth, purity, and symmetry. Enjoy it now and over the next 10-12 years ... at the minimum." (04/2000)

1997 Far Niente "Dolce" Napa Valley Dessert Wine (375ml)

96 points Wine Spectator: "Absolutely delicious. Dessert in a glass. The ripe and rich fig, apricot, anise, vanilla bean, pear and butterscotch flavors of this Sémillion blend are thick yet elegant, accented by lively orange peel and citrus notes. *Highly Recommended* (JL)" (09/2000)
