2007 Chalk Hill "Estate Red" Chalk Hill Bordeaux Blend

95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Perhaps the finest Estate Red to date is the 2007. Its dense ruby/purple hue is followed by blackberry, cassis, cedar, and licorice characteristics, supple tannins, a more accessible personality, full body, and admirable purity, texture, and length. Drink this beauty over the next 2-3 decades. (RP)" (02/2010) 95 points Wine Enthusiast: "Made in the modern style, this Cabernet-based Bordeaux-style blend was aged in mostly new French oak for 20 months, so it shows plenty of toasty, oaky notes. It's softly delicio ...

2007 T-Vine Cellars "Red Tail" Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon

A new addition to the T-Vine family, these grapes were grown just a few miles away from the winery high above Calistoga, on the sloped hillsides of the Mayacamas Range. This steep hillside vineyard location produces loose clusters of very small berries. The result is a wine that is deep, dark garnet in color, with knock- your- socks -off concentrated fruit. Moderate acidity, soft tannins worn leather and dash of spice complement the 'hugeness' of the fruit and bring it into perfect harmony. Aged 11 months in about 35% new American oak barrels. 552 cases ...

2007 Tor Kenward "Tor Rock - Hommage Allan" Bennett Valley Rhône Blend

92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Tor Rock Syrah/Grenache Judge Family Vineyards Hommage Allen is a blend of 75% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 5% Marsanne. Its classic aromas of kirsch liqueur, licorice, and charcoal do an admirable job of imitating a serious Châteauneuf-du-Pape from France’s Rhone Valley. A deep ruby/purple color, broad, full-bodied flavors, and plenty of purity suggest this wine will drink well young, yet keep for 7-8 years. (RP)" (12/2008) 90 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good deep red-ruby. Musky, ...

2007 Kistler "Cuvée Elizabeth - Bodega Headlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

96-98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "(Previously recommended, no tastng note given.) Following the brilliant success of Kistler’s 2007s, Steve Kistler and his sidekick, Mark Bixler, deserve kudos for what they have achieved in the more challenging 2008 vintage. This is the first vintage in which 100% of the fermentations were indigenous, and, fortunately, all their Sonoma Coast vineyards were far enough south that they were not tainted by any of the smoke from the ferocious fires that spread through Mendocino. The 2008s appear to be slightly mor ...

2007 Chasseur Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast boasts a dark ruby color along with a big, sweet bouquet of raspberries, black cherries, spice, and hints of earth, pepper, and forest floor. A candied, fleshy style leads to a full-bodied, broad wine revealing beautiful purity, texture, and length. It, too, shoud drink well for 4-5 years." (02/2010) 92 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright red. Intensely perfumed bouquet of red berries, Asian spices, rose and minerals. Deeply concentrated raspberry and cher ...

2007 Merry Edwards Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "A bit tannic and earthy, with tobacco and cola flavors accenting the fruitier cherries and blackberries. Oak adds sweet, smoky notes of toast, and the finish includes lots of tangy spices. Elegantly constructed, this young Pinot needs a few year in the cellar." (12/2009) 91 points Connoisseurs Guide: "Long on well-ripened black cherries and fit with a considerable complement of toasty oak, this rich, multi-faceted young Pinot is filled out with complexing elements of dark soils and smoke. It exhibits good palatal weight and ...

2007 Turley "Fredericks Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel

92-94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A new offering, the 2007 Zinfandel Fredericks Vineyard, is super. Old hillside, dry-farmed vines have produced a deep ruby/purple-tinged 2007 displaying sweet black currant and black cherry notes intermixed with notions of new saddle leather, forest floor, pepper, and spice. Full-bodied, gorgeously textured, long, heady, and rich, this should turn out to be a provocative Zin for drinking over the next decade. As always, a mind-boggling array of Zinfandels and Petite Syrahs has been produced by the world’s prem ...

2007 Pahlmeyer "Jayson" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

According to Wine Spectator: "Pleasantly fresh earth scents join supple ripe plum and black cherry fruit in this medium- to full-bodied wine that wins points for delicacy and finesse. Drink now through 2014." (05/10) Made from the same excellent fruit that goes into Pahlmeyer's top-tier Sonoma Coast bottling, just from the barrels that didn't fit with the style of the grand vin. The 2007 is bright and fresh on the nose and palate with plum, cherry cola and ginger aromas and flavors. The fruit gets a bit darker with air, turning more toward blackberry c ...

2007 MacPhail Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (1.5L)

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "A blend of two Sebastopol vineyards, this Pinot shows the fine qualities of the vintage. It’s bone dry and quite crisp, with complex flavors of red cherries, red licorice, cola and spicy new French oak. Really elegant. Drink now through 2011." (09/09) 91 points Wine Spectator: "Sour cherry and rhubarb are joined by light cedary oak, anise and floral scents, giving this a nice range of flavor, depth and complexity, with a long, full-bodied finish. Drink now through 2014." (08/09) 90 points Robert Parker: "There are over 750 c ...

(RP)" (12/2008) 93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(16.5% alcohol; from 95-year-old vines on a hillside on the east side of Santa Rosa) Pungent aromas of blackcurrant and Tellicherry pepper. 2007 Chasseur "Joyce Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright red. Exotic aromas of red berry preserves, spicecake, minerals and rose; smells like a high-end Vosne. Fleshy and seductively smooth in texture, with deep, gently sweet red and dark berry flavors and a late note of candied flowers. The spicy quality returns on the finish, which is strikingly pure and very long. (ST)" (05/2009) 92 points Wine Spectator: "Smooth, with ripe, fleshy plum and blueberry fruit that's supple, focused, elegant and delicate, unfolding to reveal subtle flavor nuances. ...

2007 David Bruce Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

David Bruce does a wonderful job channeling the coastal coolness into an elegant wine. (JL, Web-2012)" 93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Ruby-red. Energetic aromas of black raspberry, blood orange, candied rose and minerals. Vivid, impressively focused red and dark berry flavors are complicated by an exotic floral pastille quality. The silky tannins add support and gentle grip to the long, subtly sweet finish.
