1967 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Musigny Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes
Bid on this bottle of 1967 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Musigny Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes. Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Browning now to the center. A slightly maderized nose of crème brulée and brown sugar lead to still drinkable but clearly declining flavors that display plenty of acidity poking through on the slightly clipped finish. Despite the less than stellar description, the flavors are actually quite delicious if highly particular. " (10/2005)

1967 Latour, Pauillac
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1967 Latour, Pauillac (94JG). John Gilman: "There are a few wines from the 1967 vintage that simply transcend the growing season (Pétrus, Trotanoy and Latour immediately come to mind) and this is another vintage of Latour that used to fly below the radar and offer up outstanding drinking to those savvy enough to look for the wine. The bouquet on this most recent bottle was complex, classic and wide open, wafting from the glass in a fine, meaty blend of cassis, black cherries, cigar ash, gravel, black truffles, cigar smoke and a nice touch of coffee bean in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nicely suave on the attack, with excellent purity and soil signature, a fine core, melting tannins and fine length and grip on the complex and still nicely tangy finish. I have been drinking this wine since the mid-1980s with great pleasure, but it continues to cruise along without a care in the world and has many decades of life still ahe
