2016 Beauregard "Bald Mountain Vineyard" Ben Lomond Mountain Chardonnay

94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chardonnay Bald Mountain Vineyard is superb, wafting from the glass with notes of green orchard fruits, honeycomb and frangipane. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, elegantly glossy and concentrated, with lovely depth and purity, a racy line of mouthwatering acidity and a long, lingering finish. Matured in French oak (25% new), this is a terrific Chardonnay from Ryan Beauregard. (WK)" (05/2018) 93 points Wine Enthusiast: "Strong aromas of flint and crushed chalk meet with hints of hazelnut and ...

2015 Trail Marker Wine Co. "Chapel Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay (Previously $30)

90 points Vinous: "The 2015 Chardonnay Chapel Vineyard is a rich, powerful wine, especially for the Santa Cruz Mountains, but then again, that is the style of this vintage in which Chapel, like many other sites, produced tiny berries and concentrated fruit. Apricot, chamomile, spice and lightly honeyed nuance all develop nicely in the glass. There is good phenolic intensity. Even so, I would prefer to drink the 2015 sooner rather later, as the fruit profile is pretty ripe. Drink 2017-2020. (AG)" (03/2017) Wine Spectator: "This has concentrated green ap ...

2013 Varner "Hidden Block - Spring Ridge Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (Previously $48)

93 points Vinous: "The 2013 Pinot Noir Hidden Block is a very pretty, lifted wine. Sweet red cherry, mint and floral notes grace the palate in an understated, surprisingly gracious Pinot from the Varner brothers. The Hidden Block is one of the more delicate, acid-driven Pinots I have tasted from Varner. This is the first block that is picked, which likely contributes to the wine's laid-back personality and expressive aromatics. (AG)" (07/2016) 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Possessing plenty of kirsch liqueur, soy, toasted spice and earth, t ...

2013 Varner "Picnic Block Spring Ridge Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (Previously $48)

92 points Vinous: "Sweet dark cherry, menthol, pine, licorice and dark spices are all infused in the 2013 Pinot Noir Picnic Block. Deep and ample on the palate, the Picnic shows the more virile, masculine side of Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir. This is an especially dense, meaty Pinot Noir. Graphite, black pepper, game, smoke and scorched earth add the closing shades of nuance. The chewy tannins will benefit from time in bottle to soften. This is an especially big, ample Pinot from the Varners. (AG)" (07/2016) 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: ...

2016 Comartin Cellars "R-Bar-R Ranch" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay (Previously $30)

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "Broad aromas of tangerine rind, tangerine blossom, wet dough and soft yellow melon make for a very pleasant start to this single-vineyard expression. The palate is framed by a powerfully stony grip, which provides a serious backbone to the approachable rounded flavors of ripe melon and creamy peach. (MK)" (07/2018)

2014 Varner "Hidden Block - Spring Ridge Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (Previously $45)

93 points Vinous: "The 2014 Pinot Noir Hidden Block is the most immediate and dense of the four Pinots in the Varner range. A core of sweet red cherry and plum fruit fills out the wine's mid-weight frame effortlessly. Round, pliant and totally seductive, the 2014 has a lot to offer, including tons of near and medium-term appeal. (AG)" (08/2018) 92 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Mostly destemmed and brought up in 25% new French oak, the medium ruby-colored 2014 Pinot Noir Hidden Block Spring Ridge Vineyard reveals a medium ruby color as well as impressive red and ...
