2003 E. Guigal "La Landonne" Côte-Rôtie
Bid on this bottle of 2003 E. Guigal "La Landonne" Côte-Rôtie (100RP, 99WE, 98WS, (95-96ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Cote Rotie la Landonne continues to blow me away every time I taste it and it's a desert island wine for me. One of the stars of this extreme vintage, it offers sensational levels of fruit and decadence, perfumed, intense aromatics, beautiful freshness and a to-die-for texture and finish. Still youthful, with masses of sweet tannin, it's nevertheless a a heavenly drink today." (09/2015)

1990 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "La Chapelle" Hermitage
Bid on this bottle of 1990 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "La Chapelle" Hermitage (100RP, 98JS, 97WS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1990 Hermitage La Chapelle lived up to its reputation on this occasion, and of the three titans (1990, 1978 and 1961), it was probably my favorite. Still inky colored and ruby at the rim, it offers an absolutely profound bouquet of sweet cassis, smoked meats, chocolate, licorice and spice. This is followed by a full-bodied, insanely textured, pure and hedonistic palate that has that perfect mix of still-vibrant fruit and ample secondary nuances. I suspect the '61 was even richer at this stage, but the overall purity and freshness here are incredible. It will continue to evolve for decades, but I'd happily open bottles today. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Coming from the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, blocks B1, B2 and E2 planted to clone 337, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon RBS has a very deep purple-black color and is a little reticent to begin, offering glimpses at crushed black berries, black cherries and black currants with touches of cedar chest, pencil lead, dark chocolate and dusty earth with a waft of cinnamon stick. Medium to full-bodied and tautly structured with rock-solid, firm, grainy tannins and seamless freshness supporting the muscular fruit, it finishes on a lingering earthy note. Smoky, appealingly sweet and focused, offering palate-staining black and blue fruit and candied licorice flavors that are braced by juicy acidity and a late flourish of five-spice powder. Bid on this bottle of 2000 Philipponnat "Clos de Goisses" Brut Champagne (95BH, 94JG, 94ST, 94VN, 90WS). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is more mature than the 2001 with a beautifully layered nose of yeast, lemon rind, brioche, dried flowers and spice hints. There is excellent volume and superb intensity to the firm mousse that despite the firmness exhibits a very fine bead. This is exceptionally impressive in the mouth with the same striking complexity of the nose coupled with positively gorgeous length. 2013 Orin Swift "Mercury Head" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Orin Swift "Mercury Head" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 18 months in 50% new French oak, is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Mercury Head. Certainly one of the more intriguing labels, with a real Mercury-head dime embedded in the glass bottle, this 4,500-case cuvée comes from blocks in Taplin, Morisoli and Atlas Peak vineyards. The final blend is a selection of their best barrels, bottled and aged another six months prior to release. This is a killer Cabernet Sauvignon, full-bodied and multilayered, with stunning blueberry and blackberry fruit, floral acacia notes, a hint of brioche and subtle toasty oak followed by a massive, full-bodied wine with sweet tannin and beautifully integrated acidity, alcohol and wood. This profound Cabernet Sauvignon should drink well now and for 25+ years. Dave Phinney may well be 2015's winemaker of the year for this wine taster. Drink through 2040. (RP)" (10/

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Dalla Valle "Maya" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95VN, 94JD, 94WS, 93ST, 91RP). Vinous: "A seamless, layered wine, the 2000 Maya is all about texture. Silky and polished to the core, the 2000 is open and totally seductive today. All of the Maya signatures are in place in wine that emphasizes finesse over sheer size. Dalla Valle's Maya is one of Napa Valley’s most iconic wines. This complete vertical back to the inaugural 1988 is a poignant reminder of just how trailblazing Maya was back in the 1980s and 1990s. At the same time, though, Maya is timeless and enduring in its beauty. Drink through 2024. (AG)" (06/2014)

2002 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A great, great success (and of course, this is Knight’s Valley material), the 2002 Les Pavots, which I loved from barrel as well as bottle, still has a good 20+ years of life ahead of it. At this point, it is tasting like a vigorous young adolescent in its evolutionary development. The blend in 2002 from the winery was 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 7% Petit Verdot. Moreover there are just under 3,000 cases of this spectacular wine, which I’m hoping many readers have cellared away. Inky black/purple, with a nose of incense, licorice, balsamic and Asian soy notes interwoven with blackberry, blueberry and hints of truffle and camphor, this wine is full-bodied, opulent and voluptuously textured, with sensational mid-palate, depth and richness. This is a killer Bordeaux-styled, ripe, exuberant, flamboyant red from Peter Michael

Vinous: "Schrader's 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon RBS Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is pure silk on the palate. The aromas, flavors and textures are incredibly refined and lifted. A soft, seamless wine that stands out for its gorgeous balance, the 2011 is showing beautifully today. Freshly cut flowers, mint and red berries all flow through to the impeccably refined finish. It is fascinating to taste the RBS next to Las Piedras. Both wines are Clone 337 Cabernet Sauvignon, but here we are in To Kalon, where the flavors seem to have a little more definition. It has a similar level of purity, as well as incredible minerality, to go with notes of crème de cassis, scorched earth, crushed rock, and graphite. Bid on this bottle of 2014 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96JS, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another one of my favorites is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS, which is clone 4 from the To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville. This is aged in 100% new Darnajou and is one of the larger cuvées at 510 cases. Wonderfully sweet, velvety tannins, a big sweet nose of white flowers, blackberry and cassis along with cedar wood, charcoal and graphite are all present in this full-bodied opulent wine that also retains wonderful elegance. It finished at 14.6% alcohol and will drink beautifully now as well as over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2016)

2006 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 94JD, 94RP, 93JS, 93ST, 92W&S). Vinous: "A dark, brooding beauty, the 2006 Monte Bello is still very, very young. The aromatics alone are enticing, but the tannins still need time to soften. The 2006 is a masculine, vertical Monte Bello that demands cellaring. Even so, it is pretty impressive today. Scents of lavender, sage, mint and savory herbs add closing flourishes. The perfumed sweetness of the fruit (one of the hallmarks of the very late harvest) remains one of the signatures of the 2006. The 2006 can be enjoyed today or cellared for another 25+ years. 1955 Graham's Vintage Port
Bid on this bottle of 1955 Graham's Vintage Port (94WS). Wine Spectator: "A big, rather brutish wine packed to the brim with fruit. 2013 B Cellars "Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2013 B Cellars "Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon ((90-92RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More tannic, and showing signs of road tar, truffles, black fruits, and a burly, full-bodied personality is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard. This big wine is still unformed, and is not revealing the finesse of the Ehrlich, but it is “locked and loaded,” and should turn out to be an outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon. (RP)" (10/2014)

This bottling is made from top vineyards in Barolo and La Morra. It has a gorgeous bouquet of rose, leather and a whiff of tar. The palate delivers a hint of carob, spice and succulent black cherry notes. Impeccably balanced, this is elegant and complex. A textbook Barolo. *Cellar Selection* (KO)" (09/2013)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine la Barroche "Signature" Châteauneuf-du-Pape ((91-93VN), 91WS, 90RP). Vinous: "Vivid ruby. Deep, smoke-accented dark berry and floral pastille scents are sharpened by a note of peppery spice. Smoky and sweet in the mouth, offering concentrated boysenberry and cherry flavors and a hint of candied violet. Shows very good power and energy and finishes with excellent focus and length; velvety, late-arriving tannins add shape. Quite serious for an entry-level bottling; I'd bet on this making a solid cellar candidate. (JR)" (04/2016)

2016 McGah "Scarlett" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 McGah "Scarlett" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN, 92JS). Vinous: "Scarlett's 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is powerful, dense and full of flavor. Medium in body, persistent and nicely layered, the 2016 has a ton to offer. Dark cherry, plum, tobacco, cedar, earthiness and licorice give the wine striking aromatic nuance and dimensions of complexity. The Estate is a classic Rutherford Cabernet long on class and personality. Mike Smith has crafted a gorgeous Cabernet that captures the essence of this site, with an extra kick of raciness that works very nicely. (AG)" (12/2018)

Bid on this magnum of 2010 Thierry Allemand "Reynard" Cornas (1.5L) (98JS, (96-97VN), 96RP). James Suckling: "Super rich and deeply ripe, this is packed with dark fruits as well as violets, pepper, flint and graphite-derived aromas amid notes of dark Belgian chocolate. The palate delivers a sweeping wave of perfectly ripe tannins and a seamless build through red and dark plums to black-cherry liqueur. Complex spicy elements and a profound sense of elegance with power resound. Finishes all velvety. A brilliant wine with a lot more to come here in terms of unfurling and filling out. Best from 2025 and a decade or two after that." (10/2016)

2009 Giacomo Conterno "Cascina Francia" Barolo
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Giacomo Conterno "Cascina Francia" Barolo (96RP, 95JS, 95VN, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Because Monfortino was not produced this vintage, the 2009 Barolo Cascina Francia benefits from the extra fruit that would have otherwise gone toward the world's most celebrated Barolo Riserva. I tasted the 2009 Barolo Cascina Francia in barrel two years ago and am delighted by its steady evolution. This is a wine of sophisticated intensity and persuasion. The bouquet peels back to reveal dark fruit, licorice, tar and dried rose. The vintage was warm, resulting in extra plumpness and roundness in terms of mouthfeel. The style is slightly more immediate, but this is a great aging wine nonetheless. (ML)" (06/2015)

1985 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1985 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Although outstanding, Caymus's 1985 did not live up to expectations in this tasting. It reveals a lavishly oaked, smoky, jammy, blackcurrant-scented nose, sweet, round, glycerin-imbued, full-bodied flavors, and excellent purity, ripeness, and length. Other bottles have been more concentrated and complex, but who's complaining? (RP)" (04/1995)

1989 Sociando-Mallet, Haut-Médoc
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1989 Sociando-Mallet, Haut-Médoc (90RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Once again this estate revealed its excellent quality/price ratio. As one taster so appropriately stated after learning the identity of both the 1989 and 1990 Sociando-Mallets, "I'd rather have the '89 or '90 Sociando-Mallet than the '89 Margaux or '90 Mouton in my cellar." Both wines showed surprisingly well, performing at second or third-growth levels. The 1989 reveals a youthful, unevolved purple color, followed by a sweet nose of black fruits, minerals, and vanillin. The wine is extremely young (much more so than most 1989s), with medium to full body, good tannin, and not nearly as much of the vintage's soft, evolved personality in evidence. (RP)" (02/1997)

1967 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1967 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac. Mouton-Rothschild, always in the forefront of the greatest wines of Bordeaux, was the first estate to begin complete chateau-bottling of the harvest - a historic step initiated in 1924 by the late Philippe de Rothschild. It is the only chateau in the Classification of 1855 to achieve reclassification. In 1973, it was finally moved from a second growth to a first. The 1967 label features the artwork of César Baldaccini. Clive Coates: "Medium to medium-full colour. Mature but not unduly so. The nose is beginning to lighten up a little but there is good depth and class underneath nevertheless. Medium body, soft, fragrant. Attractive fruit. Good acidity. Never a wine of great concentration, and without the breed of Latour 1967, but definitely a success." Tasted 1990 - (Grand Vins, the Finest Châteaux of Bordeaux and their Wines, pg 71)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1986 Mouton-Rothschild is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot that was picked from 2 October until 16 October. Winemaker Philippe Dhalluin, who was not working at the property back then, told me that the pH was fairly low at 3.54 when it is usually around 3.75, due to the natural tartaric acid in the vines. It has a powerful and intense bouquet as always: exemplary graphite and cedar scents, a touch of black pepper and incense. It seems to unfurl in the glass, like a motor revving its engine. The palate is beautifully balanced with its trademark firm tannic structure, a Mouton-Rothschild with backbone and masculinity. Layers of black fruit intermingling with mint and graphite, a hint of licorice emanating from the Merlot, gently fanning out and my God, it is incredibly lo

2002 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 99WE, 98VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The extraordinary Harlan Estate, which I awarded 100 points seven years ago, offers no justifiable reason to doubt its perfect score. It is still a baby, with an inky purple color and notes of smoky camphor intermixed with creme de cassis, Asian soy and a hint of cedar beginning to emerge as well as some espresso and subtle damp forest floor notes. The wine has awesome intensity, a full-bodied mouthfeel, a skyscraper-like texture, and a finish that goes on for close to a minute. This is a perfect wine, still youthful and young, and not even in full adolescence as of 2012. It has 40 or more years ahead of it, but should hit its plateau of full maturity in another 5-10 years. It is certainly one of the most showy , flamboyant and remarkable Harlan Estates made to date. (More recently, the 2007 tends to resemble this wine more than any other vintage I can think of

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2001 Viader Napa Valley Proprietary Red (92WE, 92WS, 91RP, 90CG, 90VN). Wine Enthusiast: "Dense and taut in acids and fresh tannins, a young, chewy wine with a good future, to judge from the muscularity. Black cherry, pepper and herbs are framed in plenty of new oak. Immature, but should age well." (12/2004)
