2009 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2009 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard comes across as big, tight and powerful. This is one of the more reticent, inward of the 2009 Schraders. Tar, licorice, menthol and violets are some of the notes that wrap around the intense, virile finish. Today the CCS is a touch compact. It will merit a higher score if the fruit fills out a little more. CCS is clone 4 from the C1 block. (AG) 96+" (12/2011)

2013 Cayuse "Impulsivo" Walla Walla Valley Tempranillo
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Cayuse "Impulsivo" Walla Walla Valley Tempranillo (97RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the wines of the vintage is the 2013 Impulsivo. Made from 100% Tempranillo and with only 214 cases made, it has incredible notes of bloody meats, cold fireplace, black cherries, currants and cedar. This gives way to a full-bodied, concentrated, structured 2013 that will benefit from 4-5 years of cellaring and drink well for a decade or more past that. Drink from 2021-2031. (JD) 97+" (06/2016)

2009 Delas Freres "Sainte-Epine" St-Joseph
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Delas Freres "Sainte-Epine" St-Joseph (96RP, 92VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More ripe, rounded and sexy than the 2010, the 2009 St Joseph Ste Epine is a total blockbuster that offers sensational notes of black raspberries, licorice, smoked meats, olive and graphite. Big, rich, textured and concentrated, with ample tannin, it's marginally approachable now due to its wealth of fruit, but will be even better in 3-4 years and drink well through 2034. The elevage here was the standard 40-50% new French oak, but it's absorbed every trace of oak. This terrific wine is one of the greatest St Joseph's I've tasted. (JD)" (09/2015)

2003 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (91CG, 90ST, 90W&S). Connoisseurs Guide: "This impressive, generously filled and very solid young wine is at once both powerful and remarkably well-balanced and delivers loads of optimally ripened, curranty fruit juxtaposed with just the right measure of complementary oak. It is quite full on the palate and comes complete with lots of Cabernet tannins, but even as astringency crowds in at the finish, its confident fruit refuses to quit. It is not, nor will ever be the picture of elegance, but its stunning depth and keen varietal precision raise great expectations for a most handsome maturity some eight to ten years hence. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1975 Stags' Leap Winery Napa Valley Petite Sirah. The estate of Stags' Leap Winery was established in the 1880s, but for much of the 20th century the grapes were sold off and the property was used as a resort. 2010 Levy & McClellan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC)
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Levy & McClellan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 98RP, 96VN, 94ST) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon rivals the best Levy & McClellan offerings they have made to date. Its opaque blue/purple color is followed by gorgeous aromas of graphite, wet rocks, blackberry and blueberry liqueur, a distinctive floral note, background oak and hints of white chocolate and charcoal embers. Full-bodied with spectacular concentration, this layered wine reveals a vibrant structure and freshness despite its enormous size and richness. While slightly more evolved than the 2009, it is a much bigger, richer wine that will require 3-5 years of cellaring. This classic Napa Cabernet should age effortlessly for three decades or more. Bid on this magnum of 2012 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) (98RP, 93VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Leading off the wines tasted from bottle, the 2013 Booker Vineyard is one of the prettier, more elegant and pure examples of this cuvee I can recall. A blend of 67% Syrah and the rest Mourvedre, fermented with 30% whole cluster, this total thrill ride offers sensational notes of creme de cassis, black raspberries, ground herbs and crushed flowers to go with a full-bodied, ultra-pure, silky and seamless style on the palate. 2007 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 96WE, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A monumental wine in the making, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of those wines that presents such an over the top array of aromas and flavors that it’s hard to figure out what you think about it with just a quick glance. It’s only with the second or third sip that you really start to see how special this effort truly is. Offering up perfumed, intense aromas of plum, violets, ink, licorice and black currants, it flows onto the palate with a massive, incredibly full-bodied texture that builds through the mid-palate and carries layers of polished tannins, awesome purity of fruit and blockbuster length. Most likely not for everyone given the sheer size, it is an incredible wine in my opinion. Still tasting like a barrel sample, it will have 30+ total years of longevity. Drink 2017-2037. Bid on this bottle of 2002 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 96RP, 93ST, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This appears to be one of the great efforts from Chateau Montelena, something I think I was correct about when I gave it an 'in the bottle' rating in 2006 of 95+. It is still an amazingly young wine that came from old vines on the famous St. George rootstock that did not require replanting because of the phylloxera epidemic that swept through Napa in the late 1980's and 1990's. Despite its lofty 14.4% alcohol (high by Montelena standards) and the overall flamboyance of the 2002 vintage, it needs another 4-6 years of cellaring. This young, classic Cabernet Sauvignon represents the quintessential traditional school of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. It possesses an inky/blue/purple color in addition to a tight, but promising nose of black currants, crushed rocks, earth and spice. While it started out downright earthy and umami, it gained more and more fruit as it sat in the glass, has a beautiful mid-palate and a finish that won’t quit. Bid on this magnum of 1978 Heitz Cellars "Bella Oaks" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (91JG, 90WS). John Gilman: "The 1978 Bella Oaks from Heitz is another very young and vibrant example of the vintage, and the wine really demands at least an hour of decanting time to blossom if it is to be drunk today. The wine is not overtly structured like the ’78 Burgess Vintage Select, but when first opened it shows an odd lactic or cheesy note that is not necessarily inviting. However, one hour on this characteristic is subsumed in beautiful fruit tones, and the wine begins to drink splendidly. Once blossomed, the nose is a superb blend of red cherries, orange, woodsmoke, a hint of mint, walnuts, a gentle bass note of bell pepper, chipotles, soil tones and a lovely high end of Rutherford spice tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very fresh, with a fine core of cherry fruit, lovely soil tones, moderate tannins and lovely length and grip. A fine bottle of ’78 that is now ne

2014 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2014 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) ((97-99RP), 97JD, 94VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Leading off the wines from barrel, the 2014 Booker Vineyard is inky colored and downright unctuous, with tons of fruit, chalky minerality, full-bodied richness and no shortage of structure. One of the superstars in California is undoubtedly the humble, soft spoken, yet incredibly talented Justin Smith, who has had the reins at Saxum since 2000. And while a lot of winemakers would have been content to stick with the tried and true at this point, Smith continues to question, experiment and fine tune everything he does. Today, his wines are much more finesse oriented, pure and graceful than in the past, without sacrificing texture, concentration or richness. In short, these wines kick ass and shouldn't be missed by any serious wine lover out there! (JD)" (08/2016)

1995 La Rioja Alta "890" Gran Reserva Rioja
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1995 La Rioja Alta "890" Gran Reserva Rioja (96RP, 95DC, 94ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted twice, the 1995 Gran Reserva 890 is a blend of 95% Tempranillo (from Brinas, Labastida and Villaba), 3% Graciano and 1% Mazuelo, all aged in American oak for six years and delivering a headache-avoiding 12.7% alcohol. It has a heavenly bouquet that soars from the glass with soy, marmalade, a touch of Seville orange marmalade and cloves, all with superb delineation. The palate is very well-balanced with crisp, finely-tuned tannins that lend it wonderful focus. One can find vivacious flavors of strawberry, orange sorbet and citrus lemon while the finish is incredibly youthful and displays a level of tension that Alfred Hitchcock would be proud of. Outstanding traditional Rioja pulled out from the top drawer. Why? Because it whisks the drinker from wherever they are to, where the wine was born. (NM)" (08/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Beaux Frères "Beaux Frères Vineyard" Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir (95VN, 95WS, 93RP). Vinous: "Brilliant magenta. Mineral-accented red berries, incense and candied flowers on the expansive, seductively perfumed nose, with a spicy accent adding vivacity. Sappy, alluringly sweet and sharply delineated on the palate, offering juicy cherry, raspberry preserve and lavender pastille flavors that are sharpened by a zesty Asian spice nuance. Fine-grained and seamless in texture, finishing extremely long and precise, with resonating spiciness and smooth, well-knit tannins. (JR)" (06/2019)

2014 Bevan "Harbison Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2014 Bevan "Harbison Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Harbison is another titanic effort from Bevan. Saturated blue/black in color, the wine has intense camphor, charcoal, blueberry and blackberry aromas wrapped in some subtle toast and licorice, this full-bodied classic has off the charts richness and potential. Great stuff! Russell Bevan continues to build on the greatness he achieved with his 2012s and 2013s with some of the finest 2014s in all of Northern California. Moreover, 2015 looks to be another great vintage. In addition, 2016 was shaping up spectacularly when I was in Napa in late August and early September. All of Bevan’s 2014s are in bottle and are exciting, even exhilarating wines. But be forewarned, these are not for the anti-flavor folks, as they are pedal-to-the-metal, full-throttle and super-intense, but have great balance and integrity of fruit. (RP)" (10/2016)

2008 Keenan Spring Mountain District Cabernet Franc
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Keenan Spring Mountain District Cabernet Franc (94RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Cabernet Franc (100% from estate vineyard planted at a 2000 foot elevation) now represents 524 cases. Cabernet Franc has performed brilliantly at this height, and this is another example of the potential of Spring Mountain. This dense purple-hued wine is richly fruity with a beautiful floral, blueberry, raspberry and black currant-scented nose, good underlying minerality and a gorgeous fruit intensity without any sense of heaviness (14.3% alcohol). Elegant, pure and well-textured, this is a stunning Cabernet Franc to drink over the next decade. (RP)" (12/2010)

2010 Blankiet "Paradise Hills Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Blankiet "Paradise Hills Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98VN, 97RP, 97ST). Vinous: "Blankiet's 2010 Proprietary Red is sleek, subtle and beautifully nuanced throughout. The flavors are dark, ripe and intense, yet there are lovely floral, spice and mineral veins running through the fruit that give the wine its sense of sophistication. One of the most understated wines of the night, the 2010 remains very young and in need of further time in bottle to develop the full breadth of its aromas and flavors. (AG)" (06/2015)

2010 Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98DC, 98JD, 98WS, 96VN). Wine Spectator: "Lots of cocoa powder and coffee frame a massive block of dark plum, black currant and fig fruit, while massively endowed tannins stride from start to finish. Cassis, anise and Lapsang souchong tea notes hang in the background for now, but should emerge more with extended cellaring. The very dark, almost brooding finish is dominated by charcoal-coated grip, but the purity still wins out in the end. A very, very large wine. *No. 4 Top 100 Wines of 2012, Collectibles* (JM)" (10/2012)

2008 Sine Qua Non "Kolibri" Proprietary White Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2008 Sine Qua Non "Kolibri" Proprietary White Blend (97RP, 93JS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Kolibri continues the brilliant success Krankl has had with dry whites. As one can see when visiting his cellars, he is now using the fashionable concrete eggs as part of the white wines' upbringing. About 25% new French oak is used, and the balance is older barrels. Most of the fruit is from estate vineyards, with about 18% purchased from the Bien Nacido Vineyard. The final blend is 69% Roussanne and 31% Viognier. As is found in all Krankl's whites, the 2008 Kolibri possesses extraordinary aromatics. Abundant notes of marmalade, honeysuckle, white flowers, and candied citrus are accompanied by good acidity, beautiful intensity and purity, and a layered, fresh, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel. The wine is intense, but never heavy or overbearing. (RP)" (08/2010)

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Colgin "IX Estate" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 97JS, 97WS, 94VN, 94WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The good news is that there are 1,500 cases of this cuvée. It, too, reveals the noble sweetness of tannin, the extraordinary rich, intense mouthfeel, and sumptuous aromas of flowers, burning embers, blackberries, blueberries, spice box, and cedar. With extraordinary intensity, beautiful purity, a texture and flavors that build incrementally on the palate, and a significantly long finish, this is a perfect wine. (RP)" (12/2008)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Domaine Alain Voge "Les Vieilles Vignes" Cornas (98JD, 98RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cornas Vieilles Vignes is jaw-dropping stuff. Inky colored and incredibly concentrated, with sensational notes of bouquet garni, iron (blind I might have guess 2010 Clape), violets, crushed rock and decent black and blue fruits all soaring from the glass. Full-bodied, layered and pure, with awesome freshness despite it massive size and concentration, it's a profound Cornas that needs another 3-4 years of bottle age yet will have three decades of overall longevity. 1976 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1976 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac. Clive Coates: "There is fruit and opulence here though in a somewhat flabby sort of way. Ripe, spicy but also some astringence on the nose. On the palate, in its burly way, this is one of the better of the 1976s. Good fruit, some richness, no lack of acidity. So still fresh and quite long. Medium body. Tasted October 1990." (Grands Vins: The Finest Châteaux of Bordeaux and Their Wines, pg 71) Notes on the label: "The French painter Pierre Soulages (1919-) discovered Cézanne and Picasso in the late Thirties. After the war he made a decisive move towards abstract work. He immediately caught the public imagination with a new visual language: a mesh of extended strokes of dark colour in conflict with the lyrical violence of a painting style produced by the use of combs: rubber or leather scrapers, knives, spatulas and a huge range of brushes. His canvases almost always use a non-colour, often black, but sometimes brown or cobalt blue

1995 Domaine Bruno Clair Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Domaine Bruno Clair Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru ((91-93RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The best white wine I've had from Bruno Clair, the Corton Charlemagne, is a delicious example of that renowned vineyard. Clair and Brun both assured me this wine, which took three months to ferment, will neither be fined nor filtered prior to its bottling this Spring (Clair wants readers to be aware that it may throw a deposit). With airing, the slightly muted nose began to reveal roasted sweet fruits and buttered toast. Abundant flavors of tropical fruits and minerals, with a skillful touch of oak, can be found in this viscous-textured and extremely well-balanced wine. (PR)" (04/1997)

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Diamond Creek "Volcanic Hill" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 100W&S, 97VN, 96JS, 95CG, 95DC, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the biggest of the three vineyards, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Volcanic Hill comes from pure volcanic, iron-rich, rocky white tufa of volcanic origin. Marginally speaking, this is bluer and blacker than the Red Rock Terrace or Gravelly Meadow. A tour de force of perfection, this wine offers up crème de cassis, blueberry liqueur, licorice, earth, truffle and graphite. It displays spectacular richness, magnificent balance and texture, and a long, incredibly pure finish of close to a minute. This remarkable, full-bodied elixir should drink beautifully for another 30+ years, if not longer. One of the iconic wineries of Napa Valley, Diamond Creek’s vineyards were planted in 1968 in three distinctive soil types over 20 acres on Diamond Mountain. Bid on this bottle of 2007 Domaine de la Janasse "Chaupin" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (99RP, 98JD, 94VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I’ve drunk over a case of the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée Chaupin from my cellar, and this was easily one of the finest bottles (it was from magnum) I’ve ever had. Made from close to 100% Grenache and brought up in foudre, it’s a crazy good, monumental beauty that offers loads of ripe blackberries, black raspberries, crushed flowers and garrigue aromas and flavors. Concentrated, layered and unctuous, with a to-die-for texture, no hard edges and a huge finish, this beauty is still youthful and is just now starting to show hints of maturity. When it’s this good, I can’t recommend waiting, but I’ve no doubt this will continue to offer this level of quality for at least another decade. (JD)" (02/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Domaine de Marcoux Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes ((96-98VN), 96JD, 95RP, 94DC). Vinous: "Lurid ruby. A heady, expressive bouquet evokes fresh raspberry, cherry compote, potpourri, licorice and Asian spices, while a bright mineral flourish builds in the glass. Sweet, palate-staining red fruit liqueur, lavender pastille and spicecake flavors show outstanding depth as well as vivacity thanks to a core of juicy acidity. Plays power off finesse with a deft hand and finishes incredibly long, sappy and pure; velvety tannins emerge very slowly.
