2004 Blankiet "Paradise Hills Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Blankiet "Paradise Hills Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The dense ruby/purple-colored 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Paradise Hills Estate reveals notes of cocoa, coffee, chocolate and creme de cassis. It cuts a bigger swath across the palate than the Merlot, but with no hard edges. Deeply textured and multidimensional with loads of fruit as well as a flawless integration of acidity, alcohol, tannin and wood, this medium to full-bodied, classic Blankiet should continue to drink well for another 15-20 years. This boutique estate situated on the hillsides behind Dominus has employed some of the best wine minds in Napa. The 2004s spent 18 months in 100% new Taransaud barrels, and were bottled without fining or filtration. (RP)" (04/2014)

2005-2006 L'Aventure "Estate" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon Vertical

Of the 2005 L'Aventure "Estate" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon possesses an opaque inky/purple color, and a gorgeous nose of graphite, creme de cassis, cedar, and new oak. When I smelled and tasted this majestic wine, it reminded me of the 2006 Mouton Rothschild. As strange as that might sound, there is more to that comparison than one might suspect. This rich, intense effort displays Cabernet Sauvignon’s potential when planted on the west side of Paso Robles. This gorgeous Cabernet can compete with the finest Napa Valley cult wines, but it requires 3-4 years of cellaring. It should keep for 2-3 decades. Bravo! (RP) 94+" (08/2007)

2016 Bevan "Tench Vineyard EE" Oakville Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2016 Bevan "Tench Vineyard EE" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (96VN). Vinous: "The 2016 Red Wine EE Tench Vineyard is a very beautiful wine that shows yet another facet of this superb Oakville site. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, mocha and new leather run through a pliant, expressive red that will drink well earlier than some of the more imposing wines in this range. The high presence of Cabernet Franc works wonders. The blend is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot. (AG)" (12/2018)

2014 Harbison "The Trail" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2014 Harbison "The Trail" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon The Trail, which is slightly different than its older sibling, is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc aged in equal parts Taransaud and Darnajou barrels. This wine exhibits serious ripeness, great integrity of fruit purity, loads of crème de cassis and blackberry, some licorice, truffle and smoke. It is full-bodied, opulent, and sexy. This was an incredible showing for the Harbison wines, which are made by Russell Bevan. They come from a fabulous vineyard in Oakville, sandwiched between some legends of that area, such as Screaming Eagle, Rudd, Plumpjack and Backus. (RP)" (10/2016)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Grown (2,150 cases of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc) is spectacular. An inky/purple color is accompanied by aromas of espresso roast, melted fudge, blackberries, currants, and smoke. Of the 2004 Lascombes, Margaux,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Another brilliant effort from this estate, the 2004 Lascombes (a blend of 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Petit Verdot) exhibits a deep blue/purple hue along with a sweet perfume of blueberries, black raspberries, cherries, incense, smoke, and spring flowers. While opulent, underneath the full-bodied richness of fruit and depth is a structured wine. As it sits in the glass, an espresso roast character (no doubt from new oak) also emerges. 2005 Clos Manou, Médoc
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Clos Manou, Médoc (90RP, (87-89ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The outstanding 2005 Clos Manou demonstrates just how deep and strong this vintage can be for overachievers from less prestigious terroirs. This blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest mostly Merlot and a small amount of Petit Verdot exhibits a dense ruby/purple color followed by a classic Medoc nose of cedarwood, black currants, fruitcake, tobacco, and menthol. Medium to full-bodied and ripe with good tannin, structure, purity, and depth, unlike many of these lower level offerings, it will benefit from 1-2 years of cellaring, and should drink well for a decade or more." 1979 Jordan Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 1979 Jordan Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (92JG). John Gilman: "The bouquet is deep, complex and nicely mature, wafting from the glass in a mix of dark berries, bell pepper, dark soil tones, cigar ash and plenty of Sonoma herbs in the upper register. On the palate the wine is fullish, elegant and very complex, with a good core, superb focus and balance, melted tannins and a very long, suave finish. This is classic Sonoma cabernet, which will always be a bit more herbal in profile than its Napa Valley counterparts, but for those with no tolerance issues with pyrazines, there is an awful lot to like in this stylish and complex wine. 2004 Larkmead "LMV Salon" Napa Valley Bordeaux Red
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Larkmead "LMV Salon" Napa Valley Bordeaux Red (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Salon is a proprietary blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cabernet Franc, 10% Petit Verdot, 8% Merlot and 3% Malbec. It possesses a youthful dense purple color along with an explosive nose of spring flowers, black raspberries and black currants, a touch of graphite, but no evidence of oak. The wine boasts extraordinary opulence and complexity, multiple dimensions, endless depth and richness, and perfect balance. This compelling 2004 is one of the superstars of the vintage. Approachable now, it should age for 20-30+ years, possibly as long as 50 years. Cam Baker, one of Northern Napa Valley’s iconic figures, administers this extraordinary terroir that was historically famous in the 1800s, but seemingly forgotten after Prohibition was repealed. However, over the last two decades, some remarkable cuvees have emanated from Larkmead. For my tastes, these wines are alwa

Bid on this bottle of 1991 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (97ST, 97VN, 96DC, 96RP, 95JS, 93WS). Vinous: "The 1991 Monte Bello is utterly captivating. Sweet tobacco, cedar, mint, dried flowers and herbs are some of the many notes the open up in the wine's striking bouquet. Aromatic, mid-weight and gracious, the 1991 is wonderfully complex, with more than enough balance to drink well for another two decades. The aromatics in particular are super-expressive, open-knit and incredibly finessed, all qualities Paul Draper says the wine showed right out of the fermentation tanks. What a gorgeous wine this is. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A sleeper of the vintage, the 2003 Kirwan exhibits a dense plum/ruby color, sweet creme de cassis notes intermixed with spicy fruitcake and cedarwood, medium to full body, good freshness, sweet tannin and a long finish. This beauty has hit its plateau of maturity, but it is in no danger of falling apart. (RP)" (08/2014)

2000 Lagrange, St-Julien
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Lagrange, St-Julien (94JG, 93JS, 93RP, 93W&S, 93WS, 92ST). John Gilman: "The 2000 vintage of Lagrange is one of the most powerfully built that I have tasted from the Suntory era, and it will take many years for this deep and classy wine to reach its apogee. I very much like the cool fruit tones of the 2000 on both the nose and palate. The bouquet is a fine, reserved blend of cassis, bell pepper, espresso, black cherries, a bit of youthful horsiness, an impressive base of soil tones, tobacco leaf and a very vague impression of new oak buried somewhere in the aromatic depths of the wine. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and very young, with a rock solid structure, ripe tannins, good acids and excellent focus and grip on the very long, palate-staining and chewy finish. While the 2005’s great tangy acids will carry the wine far into the future, the 2000 vintage gets my vote for the potentially longest-lived wine that this property has yet produce

2003 Monbousquet, St-Emilion
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Monbousquet, St-Emilion (93RP, 90VN, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This was an amazing performance for Monbousquet. The 2003 exhibits plenty of fat and succulence along with a full-bodied, sexy mouthfeel, and lots of black cherry and black currant fruit intermixed with licorice, baking spices and roasted herbs. Fully mature yet in no danger of falling apart or in decline, the color remains a healthy plum/garnet to the rim. This full throttle 2003 was one of the great buys of the vintage when it was first released, and continues to prove that great winemaking and viticultural management from less heralded terroirs can result in wines well-above their pedigree. All Syrah in 2012 and showing the house style perfectly, it has a saturated inky color to go with a forward, sexy, meaty and full-bodied array of creme de cassis, licorice, chocolate and licorice. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 August West "Rosella's Vineyard" Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir (92CG, 90WS). Connoisseurs Guide: "Once again, it seems very clear that 2012 was a banner year for August West, and while the winery's Graham Family Pinot wins high praise for its focus and very keen composition, this one earns applause for its succulence and sheer fruity richness. It is big and fleshy, and it makes no bones about being fully ripe, yet it goes nowhere near the brink of being too much. It, too, is quite comfortably balanced, and it has the kind of stamina to ensure a good half-decade of growth and lengthy keeping after that. *Two Stars*" (06/2014)

1982 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1982 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (100JS, 100RP, 98ST, 98WS, 97DC, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine remains one of the legends of Bordeaux. It has thrown off the backward, youthful style that existed during its first 25 years of life, and over the last 4-5 years has developed such secondary nuances as cedar and spice box. The creme de cassis, underlying floral note, full-bodied power, extraordinary purity, multilayered texture, and finish of over a minute are a showcase for what this Chateau accomplished in 1982. The wine is still amazingly youthful, vibrant, and pure. It appears capable of remaining fruity and vibrant in 2082! Thank God it is beginning to budge, as I would like to drink most of my supply before I kick the bucket. This is a great, still youthful wine, and, on occasion, one does understand the hierarchy of Bordeaux chateaux when you see the complexity and brilliance of this first-growth. 1975 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1975 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (91RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Château Haut-Brion 1975 has been variable in the past, however this is one of the better examples with deep garnet color. The nose is lively with leather and scorched earth scents infusing the dusky black fruit, later a faint touch of terracotta coming through. The palate is well balanced, quite animally and feral for a respectable First Growth, but that is exactly what lends it its charm. There is just some dryness creeping in on the finish, so I would drink bottles over the next ten years or so. (NM)" (07/2016)

2013 Sine Qua Non "Jusqu' à l'os" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Sine Qua Non "Jusqu' à l'os" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache (100RP, 98JD, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Grenache Jusqu' a l'os was produced from 79% Grenache from the 11 Confessions Vineyard along with 18% Syrah and 3% Petite Sirah, produced using 89% whole cluster and aged for around 38 months in 51% used oak, 6% new French oak and 43% concrete tanks (bottled December 6, 2016). It displays a medium to deep garnet color and rock star vibrant red currant and black raspberry scents with hints of licorice, mocha, Indian spices and peppered salami plus oh-so-fragrant and seductive touches of potpourri and chargrill. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and opulently fruited in the mouth, the alluring, velvety tannins support savory, spicy layers right through the long, mineral-laced finish. This is one drop dead gorgeous, femme fatale of a wine. 868 cases of 750 milliliter bottles, 223 magnums and 30 double magnums were made. (LPB)" (09/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 96VN, 95WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The utterly perfect 2014 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon (1,500 cases) has everything one could possibly want in a Cabernet. Inky purple-colored to the rim, with a glorious nose of white flowers, crème de cassis, hints of blackberry and boysenberry, some licorice and forest floor are followed by an enormously concentrated wine with fabulous purity, a skyscraper-like mid-palate and texture, a length of nearly a minute, and stunning flavors, with flawless integration of acidity, tannin, wood and alcohol. This is a great, great wine and certainly one of the Cabernet Sauvignons of this vintage. Drink it over the next 25-30 or more years. (RP)" (12/2016)

Bid on this 3L-bottle of 2004 Margaux, Margaux (3L) (96W&S, 96WE, 94RP, 94ST, 94WS). Wine Enthusiast: "If one of 2004’s enduring characteristics is its freshness, then Margaux epitomizes this. It is so deliciously fresh and floating, with great black currant and blueberry fruits, pointed up by spice, mint and a sense of elegance and poise. There’s no doubt about its aging potential either: just feel that heart of firm tannins. (RV)" (06/2007)

Full-bodied, offering amazing raspberry fruit in the core of the palate. Ultrapolished, velvety tannins wonderfully coat every inch of your palate. This will age for years ahead, but it's so lovely now. Much better than many people think. (JS, Web Only-2010)"

2015 The Debate "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2015 The Debate "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98RP, 96JS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The star of the three 2015s is the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon and this sensational wine is pure perfection in the glass. Offering an off-the-charts bouquet of blueberries, black cherries, incense, graphite, cigar wrapper, and flowers, it’s ripe, unctuous and gorgeously concentrated on the palate, all while staying ethereal, elegant and seamless, with no weight or heaviness. Utterly sensational stuff, it’s already a joy to drink, yet is going to benefit from 3-4 years of cellaring and keep for two decades or more. Given its power and richness paired with an incredible elegance, it reminds me of the 2009 Haut Bailly. Bravo!" (12/2017)

1976 d'Yquem, Sauternes
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1976 d'Yquem, Sauternes (96RP, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted blind in Bordeaux, the 1976 Chateau d'Yquem reaffirms its reputation as one of the great wines of the decade, although I would suggest that that 1971 and 1975 are the true pinnacles. However, in no way do I wish to slight this Sauternes. Deep and slightly burnished in color, it offers dried pineapple, barley sugar, almond and a cheeky puff of café latte. There is wonderful definition here. The palate is underpinned by nigh on perfect acidity with orange rind, mango, crème brûlée and minerals. As it fans out towards the finish, there is a tang of Seville orange marmalade, and though it does not quite possess the persistence of the 1975 Yquem, you will be craving for the next sip. At its peak now, enjoy this great Yquem over the next 20-30 years. (NM)" (06/2016)

2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. It is so good now, why wait? However, I’m sure that like most vintages of Caymus, it will last for 20-25 years. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)

2000 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac (98JD, 97RP, 95JS, 95VN, 94ST, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The best since the 1990, the 2000 Pichon-Longueville Baron is just now starting to shed some baby fat and develop additional complexity and layers. This still ruby/plum-colored beauty boasts a phenomenal nose of blackcurrants, tobacco leaf, lead pencil shavings, and new saddle leather. It’s deep, full-bodied, and sexy, with incredible amounts of texture and opulence that keeps you coming back to the glass. It makes a mockery of so many Bordeaux today that are made in a so-called elegant style yet lack the fat, richness, and density to ever hit this high a level. With low acidity, beautiful purity of fruit, sweet tannins, and a great finish, it’s in the early to middle range of its drink window (I love it today) and has another two decades of sensational drinking ahead. Readers wanting to know what truly great Bordeaux tastes like should open a bottle of this!" (03/2019)

2013 Hundred Acre "Wraith'' Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Hundred Acre "Wraith'' Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Wraith leaps from the glass with gregarious black and red cherries, mulberries, black currant cordial, red roses and lavender scents with layers of crushed rocks and earthy sparks. Faint earth and exotic spice nuances unfurl slowly, growing in intensity and depth. The palate is full-bodied and solidly structured with firm, very finely grained, super ripe tannins and bold freshness. Finishing exquisitely perfumed, jaw-droppingly layered and with bags of sophistication and poise, this wine totally resets the benchmark for 100 points. (LPB)" (12/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Pavie, St-Emilion (100JS, 100RP, 99VN, 96WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Gérard Perse believes this is the greatest Pavie he’s made to date, although certainly I would argue that list includes the 2000, as well as the 2009 and 2010, among his superstars. This wine, which I had both in the 2005 horizontal report in the Wine Advocate, and at a mini-vertical with Perse at the restaurant Maison Boulud in Montreal, looks to be a 75- to 100-year wine. Dense, opaque purple to the rim, with a gorgeously promising nose of blackberries, cassis, graphite and cedar wood just beginning to emerge, it tastes more like a three-year-old than wine that is already a decade old. This beauty is intense and full-bodied, with magnificent concentration, a majestic mouthfeel and a total seamless integration of tannin, wood, alcohol, etc. Beautifully rich, full and multidimensional, this is a tour de force in winemaking and certainly one of the top dozen or so 2005 Bo

1992 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 1992 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This was a magical showing for the 1992 Monte Bello—and the best bottle I've ever encountered. At age 26, the wine is still stunningly vibrant and youthful, bursting from the glass with a classic bouquet of cassis, blackberries, black truffles, gravelly soil and pencil shavings. On the palate, it's full-bodied, multidimensional and utterly complete, with superb concentration and energy, its richly layered mid-palate framed by fine-grained, satiny tannins, concluding with a long, sapid finish. Above all, it stands out for its seamless balance and delineation. While for many years the more flashy and dramatic 1991 stole the limelight, as the dust settles, the deeper, more complex 1992 has emerged as the greater wine and one of Ridge's true classics. The product of an October harvest after extensive crop thinning, it's a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauv

Medium-bodied, soft and plush on the palate, it has tons of mouth-filling savory and plum preserves flavors and a very long, savory finish. Delicious now, it should keep for 15-20 more years.
