Everywhere you turn in the world of fine wine, it seems to have produced wines of the highest caliber that are at the same time refined, structured, and age-worthy. 2010 Claude Dugat Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) ($4,100.00)

93-95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Charmes-Chambertin is impeccably layered from start to finish. Dark cherries, plums and exotic spices are woven together in a rich fabric of notable class. The Charmes is indescribably elegant and also deceptive today in its openness, but it is a wine built for the cellar. This is going to be a fascinating wine to follow. Anticipated maturity: 2025-2040. (AG)" (12/2011)

94 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is also reduced though not nearly so strongly. There is good verve to the extract rich medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate on the significantly more structured, deeper and longer finish. The supporting tannins are really quite fine and while there is plenty of volume and solid power, this is perhaps a bit more sophisticated than it usually is. As with the Lavaut, readers should note that my score assumes that the reduction here is not permanent." (01/2013)

93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright, deep red. Musky, wild aromas and flavors of black raspberry, coffee, gibier, smoky crushed rock and mocha; an essence of Gevrey. Silky-sweet and deep, with terrific spicy, peppery lift contributing to the wine's superb inner-mouth tension. Finishes with a firm spine for aging but the tannins arrive late, allowing the wine's fruit and perfume to dust the mouth and expand on the aftertaste. (ST) 93+" (03/2013)

2010 Domaine du Clos de Tart Clos de Tart Grand Cru (1.5L) 3-Pack (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($4,400.00)

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at the pre-dinner vertical to mark Sylvain Pitiot's retirement from the domaine, the 2010 Clos de Tart Grand Cru would have been made by angels if not Sylvain Pitiot (angels that had graduated from University of Dijon with a degree in oenology). The nose is so ineffably pure that it is guaranteed to bring a tear to the eye. In a strange way it reminds me of a top Armand Rousseau with its awe-inspiring transparency. The palate is ethereal - divine balance, a gentle grip, a saline edge and poise on the finish that takes your breath away. Iron fist in a velvet glove, etc. This is surely legend in the making. (NM)" (10/2015)

94-96 points Vinous: "The 2010 Clos de Tart is still a work in progress, but this early tasting is fascinating. Layers of deep, dark fruit nearly jump from the glass in this exotic, full-bodied Clos de Tart. Crushed flowers, violets and spices develop over time as the wine gains its easy upper register. The tannins are very firm, but there appears to be more than enough fruit to provide balance. This is going to be a fascinating wine to follow over the coming years and decades. Today it is shaping up to be a gem. (AG)" (02/2012)

95 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good full red. Deep, sweet, classic Clos de Tart aromas and flavors of dark raspberry, dried flowers, minerals and fresh violet and rose. Dense, round, superripe and compellingly sweet but not a bit roasted. Utterly mouthfilling, fine-grained wine with a broad, wonderfully sweet finish that saturates the entire palate and builds impressively. The serious, noble tannins arrive late. The pH here is in the 3.55 to 3.6 range, according to winemaker Sylvain Pitiot. The cool harvest of 2010 was perfect for Pitiot's late-picking strategy, as this wine is dense and fully ripe without excessive alcohol or any dehydrated fruit character. 95(+?) points" (01/2013)

94 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A ripe but cool and highly complex nose of moderately wooded aromas of violets, cassis, black berry and anise hints. The superbly rich and velvety broad-shouldered flavors possess outstanding size, weight and mid-palate concentration that coats the palate with dry extract and enrobes the firm tannic spine to the point where it is more of a background element than usual. There is excellent energy and precision to the dusty, pure and driving finish. This well-balanced effort should require between 15 and 18 years of cellar time to be at its best. (AM)" (01/2013)

2010 Domaine du Clos Frantin (Albert Bichot) Vosne Romanee 1er Cru "Malconsorts" 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($950.00)

93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Almost invisible wood frames subtly spiced ripe black cherry and plum aromas that lead to powerful and mineral-driven middle weight plus flavors that possess the usual Malconsorts taut muscularity and robust punch on the mouth coating finish. This should be excellent but note that 10 to 12 years will be required first. This is textbook. *Outstanding*" (01/2013)

2010 Domaine Harmand-Geoffroy Mazis Chambertin Grand Cru (1.5L) 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) ($2,050.00)

94 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "After a few years of bottle age this appears to be even better than I originally thought that it might be. There is a touch of wood framing ultra-fresh and ripe but brooding and deeply pitched nose of dried flowers, dark berry fruit, humus, earth and sauvage nuances. There is excellent punch and power to the minerally and beautifully focused middle weight flavors that are underpinned by phenolically mature structural elements before culminating in a dusty, firm and gorgeously persistent finish. This well-concentrated effort is developing slowly but most impressively though plenty of patience is yet required. In sum, this is a knock out!" (11/2015)

2010 Domaine Hudelot Noellat Vosne Romanee 1er Cru "Les Beaux Monts" 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) ($2,450.00)

92-94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Vosne-Romanee Les Beaux Monts blossoms on the palate with tons of class and finesse. I especially like the restrained style, but at the same time there is no shortage of personality and depth in this totally sexy, voluptuous Beaux Monts. Persistent saline notes lend brightness to the well-articulated finish. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2030. Once again this year I tasted with Charles Van Canneyt, Alain Hudelots grandson. Yields were down 30% across the board, a significant drop but not terrible considering the year. Overall the 2010s are very strong and seem to point towards a style that is a bit more refined than in the past. (AG)" (12/2011)

91-93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "***Outstanding*** This had just been racked and not surprisingly was quite closed though aggressive swirling coaxed grudging aromas of spice, wet stone and cassis. The pure and intensely mineral-inflected flavors are shaped by exceptionally fine-grained tannins as well as excellent length on the pure, balanced and energetic finish. This is a wine of finesse and while it's notably finer than the Suchots, it's not as complex or at least not yet." (01/2012)

Jancis Robinson: "Excellent intensity and energy on the nose. Fresh and racy. Well done! Good purity. The merest hit of rhubarb." (01/2012)

2010 Domaine Méo-Camuzet Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($2,200.00)

92-94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Clos de Vougeot opens with remarkably, perfumed aromatics. Sweet red cherries, hard candy, freshly cut mint and licorice are some of the nuances that add complexity on the palate. Ripe, silky tannins frame the elegant finish. This is a gorgeous, feminine Clos de Vougeot that impresses for its refined personality and sheer class. There is plenty of underlying material to support a long life in the cellar. In 2010 Meo-Camuzet assembled the wines from both of the domaines parcels in Clos de Vougeot. (AG)" (02/2012)

93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good medium red. Reticent aromas of black cherry, licorice, mocha, coffee and underbrush. Sweet, fine-grained and intense, with terrific clarity and lift to the flavors of black cherry, crushed stone, spices and mint. Tannins are substantial but smooth and horizontal. The wine's savory, perfumed, very long finish really titillates the taste buds. This will need a good decade of cellaring. (ST)" (03/2013)

2010 Frédéric Magnien Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Charmes" Vieilles Vignes 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($750.00)

91-94 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is more elegant still with really lovely aromas of rose petals and red currant that give way seamlessly to the lilting, pure and intense middle weight flavors that culminate in a linear and impressively persistent finish. This is an understated and mildly austere effort that possesses a highly sophisticated mouth feel. Strongly recommended. *Sweet Spot Outstanding*" (01/2012)

91 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good deep red. Sexy nose combines blackberry, saline minerality and high-quality smoky, musky oak. Round and inviting, offering a very refined texture to its sweet red berry flavors. Finishes very long, with fine-grained tannins and a blast of spices, chocolate and earth. In contrast to the Borniques, this is more impressive from bottle than it was from barrel. (ST)" (03/2013)

2010 Thibault Liger-Belair Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Les St. Georges" 12-Pack (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($2,800.00)

93-95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Nuits St. Georges Les St. Georges is utterly captivating. Layers of exotic fruit literally burst from the glass. Mint, graphite, freshly cut flowers and spices develop in the glass, adding considerable depth and nuance. I especially like the way the fruit builds towards the huge, powerful finish. This is a dazzling effort. Even more importantly, it makes a compelling case for the upgrading of Les St. Georges to Grand Cru status. Anticipated maturity: 2025-2045. I was deeply impressed with the wines I tasted with Thibault Liger-Belair. Thibault's core holdings are the remaining vestiges of his family's portion of the original Liger-Belair estate that was sold in the early 1930s. In recent years, Liger-Belair has added a few negociant wines to augment his range. Thibault Liger-Belair is the largest owner of the Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les St. Georges and the leading proponent of the movement to have the vineyard classified as a Grand Cru. (AG)" (02/2012)

93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good bright, deep red. Aromas of raspberry, crushed stone, pepper, licorice and pungent oak; this smells sweet! Superconcentrated and large-scaled, with outstanding density to the black cherry, bitter chocolate and rocky flavors. Very ripe but a bit disjointed and inscrutable today owing to its sheer intensity and tautness. Finishes with toothcoating tannins and a mentholated aspect. I'd forget about this one for at least seven or eight years, at which point my score may well look overly conservative. 93(+?) points." (03/2013)

93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: " *Outstanding* A beautifully complex nose offers up notes of red currant, blue pinot fruit, plum and plenty of pungent earth nuances. The velvety yet strikingly intense flavors brim with sap that renders the mid-palate more approachable though it's quite clear from the very firm and robust finish that this is going to require plenty of cellar time before it arrives at its apogee. Noteworthy quality here in a built-to-age package. Drink 2025+." (01/2013)

2010 Ausone, St-Emilion 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) ($8,550.00)

99 points Wine Enthusiast: " *Cellar Selection* A big, bold wine with unbelievable power and concentration. Low yields and a dominance of Cabernet Franc have produced an immensely concentrated wine. Still very young, this magnificent wine holds the promise of great aging." (03/2013)

98 points James Suckling: "The nose is so deep and almost endless with dried strawberries, blueberries, and incense. Citrus too. Some prunes. Full body, with chewy yet polished tannin quality and tension. Beautiful focus and balance with a richness and delicacy at the same time. Something almost Burgundian. It's the purity of fruit. 55% Cabernet Franc and 45% Merlot. Try in 2020. " (02/2013)

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Ausone struck me as another brilliant, potentially perfect wine, which should come as no shock to people who have been following Vauthier's work over the last decade or more. Backward and intense, this wine offers up notes of crushed chalk/rock mineralilty interwoven with blueberry, black raspberry and cassis as well as some graphite and vanillin. It is incredibly rich but at the same time precise, fresh and vivacious. This is a super wine, but it will require enormous patience from its potential suitors. Forget it for a decade and drink it over the following 50+ years. (98+)" (02/2013)

98 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep, saturated ruby-red. Musky aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, coffee, violet, Christmas spices, minerals and exotic oak, complicated by graphite minerality. Boasts uncanny intensity, calcaire energy and power on the palate, but there's also a deeply creamy texture brought by this superripe vintage. Boasts extraordinary inner-mouth aromatic character and finishes with great tannic spine. The building, endless finish boasts great clarity and perfume. A transcendent Ausone in its combination of power and elegance. This stunning wine will be improving in bottle long after I've expired. 98(+?) points." (08/2013)

Decanter: "As pure as the '09 but a more emphatic structure. 55% Cabernet Franc in the blend. Fragrant fruit and floral nose. Dense, ripe fruit and an abundance of firm but finely knit tannins. Minerally freshness provides a classical edge. Great length and persistence. Huge ageing potential. Drink 2022-2060. (19.5/20 points)" (04/2011)

2010 Ducru-Beaucaillou, St-Julien 12-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) ($3,250.00)

100 points James Suckling: "The nose is phenomenal with perfect aromas of Cabernet Sauvignon with currant bush, blackberries and minerals. A pure expression of Cab. The palate is perfect with a full body, but has perfectly integrated tannins with a texture like the finest cashmere. It's strong but noble with perfect form and beauty. All in harmony. A fabulous wine that everyone who loves Bordeaux should have a bottle or case of." (02/2013)

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "With loads of minerality, a terrific opaque purple color, and slightly more structure and tannin than either Poyferre or St.-Pierre (and thats saying something), this is a blockbuster, fabulous Ducru Beaucaillou that should be at its best a good decade from now and last 40-50 years. The proprietor is not alone in thinking this is the finest Ducru Beaucaillou since the 1961. The classic wet rock, creme de cassis, subtle oak and gravelly stoniness of the vineyard come through in this spectacular, full-bodied, gorgeously pure and intense effort. This is wine for the ages that should be forgotten for at least a decade. (RP) 98+" (02/2013)

98 points Jeb Dunnuck: "A monumental wine thats going to be just about immortal is the 2010 Ducru-Beaucaillou. Coming from 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot brought up in new barrels, it sports a saturated purple color to go with dense, yet incredibly pure, classic notes of crème de cassis, lead pencil, crushed rocks and liquid violets. With full-bodied richness, a massive, unctuous texture, and again, incredible purity, it needs to be forgotten for 7-8 years and will keep for just about as long as youll like to hang onto bottles. 98+" (11/2017)

97 points Wine Spectator: "Not shy at all, with a flamboyant, aromatic profile of roasted apple wood and warm ganache, featuring more than enough stuffing in the form of thickly layered blackberry paste, steeped fig and pastis-soaked plum flavors. The structure is massive but incredibly polished, and the fruit displays terrific purity through the graphite-supported finish. Large-scale and extremely well-rendered. Best from 2020 through 2040. (JM)" (03/2013)

96 points Wine Enthusiast: "A grand wine, it has great ripeness and richness, majestic in its structure and upright character. It is concentrated, perfumed and opulent. The style of Ducru Beaucaillou is both generous and powerful, and obviously ageworthy. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (03/2013)

95 points John Gilman: "The 2010 Ducru-Beaucaillou is a riveting success for the vintage and one of the best three or four wines to be found on the Left Bank this year. The bouquet is deep, pure and stunning, as it soars from the glass in a mélange of sweet cassis, dark berries, tobacco, a superb, gravelly soil signature, coffee and a fair dollop of spicy new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and fabulously structured, with great intensity at the core, impeccable focus and balance, plenty of ripe, beautifully integrated tannins and outstanding length and grip on the palate-staining and dancing finish. Here is one of the extremely rare 2010s that actually is worthy of all the hyperbole bantered around about this vintage! Drink between 2022-2100. 95+" (06/2012)

95 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium red-ruby. Sexy, ripe aromas of black- and redcurrant, cedar and minerals, lifted by a subtle minty note; an essence of perfumed Saint-Julien cabernet sauvignon. Then rich, deep and incredibly vibrant, displaying major dimensions for Ducru as well as a dense kernel of complex, delineated blackcurrant, red cherry, milk chocolate, cedar and fresh herb flavor. Finishes wonderfully long and subtle, with suave tannins that eventually dust the front teeth and a quintessentially silky texture. If the 2010 vintage is a modern classic, this wine could be Exhibit A. (ST) 95+" (08/2013)

Jancis Robinson: "Very flamboyant cassis/kirsch nose, yet a neat, mineral-salty palate. Impressive control, very fine grain despite copious tannin. Alcohol now hidden; in fact this is generally showing much more class than two years ago. Built for the fairly long haul. (AH) 18/20 points" (10/2015)

2010 La Mission Haut-Brion Rouge, Pessac-Léognan 6-pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) ($4,250.00)

100 points James Suckling: "This is crazy. The nose is so unique with the iodine, stones and currant aromas with wet earth and mushroom. Aromas like this don't usually come out until 10 years or so in the bottle. Classic nose for this estate. Full-bodied, with an amazing palate of firm yet polished tannins and a solid palate. So dense and gorgeous. It is really stunning. Try in 2020. " (02/2013)

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A strong candidate for a perfect score in about 15 years, the 2010 La Mission Haut-Brion could well turn out to be a modern-day version of their 1955. Sadly (or maybe fortunately) for me, Im not old enough to have tasted the 1955 in 1958 from bottle, but this wine could also be an update on the more modern 2000 which, of course, I know well and actually own. This full-bodied, colossal giant of a wine is one of the goliaths of the vintage. It may well have the highest level of natural alcohol for any wine from the Left Bank of Bordeaux (15.1%) and has the definite potential to be a 50- to 75-year wine. Dense purple, it offers up notes of lead pencil shavings, charcoal embers, blueberry and blackberry liqueur along with massive concentration, a multi-dimensional mouthfeel and a monumental finish that goes well past a minute, which I think might be a record for a young Bordeaux. Keep in mind that the 2009, which I gave three digits, came in at 14.7%, but the pH of the 2010 is lower, giving the wine a freshness and precision that is remarkable. The final blend was 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, and unlike the Chapelle de la Mission, which has 26% Cabernet Franc theres only 1% Cabernet Franc in the 2010 La Mission Haut-Brion. This is a wine for those of you with youth on your side as well as patience. It will need a good decade of cellaring. An amazing wine. Anticipated maturity: 2024-2075+. 98+ (RP)" (02/2013)

98 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep, saturated ruby-red. Sweet, brooding aromas of cassis, coffee, minerals and licorice. Superconcentrated, voluptuous and seamless, with outstanding density of fruit and noteworthy precision to the compellingly sweet dark berry and mineral flavors. The broad, ripely tannic finish features extraordinary length and lingering violet and flint flavors. The best young La Mission I remember tasting at a similar stage of development. This is one of my three or four top wines of the vintage. 98+" (07/2013)

97 points Wine Enthusiast: "A beautifully dense, ripe wine, its intense acidity balanced by an opulent structure and gorgeous fruits. The texture is smooth and velvety, while never losing sight of the powerful structure. This elegant and powerful wine will age for many years. *Cellar Selection*" (03/2013)

97 points Wine Spectator: "Intense and engaging. Despite showing lots of heft and tarry grip, the singed apple wood and alder notes are well-defined in this red, accentuating a core of roasted fig, blackberry coulis and macerated red and black currant fruit. The long, bramble-edged finish sports showy ganache and Lapsang souchong tea notes, while the structure refuses to yield until everything has finally played out. Muscular and vivacious. Best from 2019 through 2040. (JM)" (03/2013)

Jancis Robinson: "Firm, furry and restrained. Good definition to the fruit, but the overall impression is of tension and compaction. Deserves some time. (RH) 16+/20" (05/2014)

2010 Hosanna, Pomerol 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) ($1,400.00)

96 points James Suckling: "Beautiful nose with ripe strawberries, red apple and vanilla. Wonderful floral notes too. Sumptuous ripe red fruit and juicy acidity on the palate with finely knit tannins. Full-bodied and very juicy with a soft silky texture and good length. It's hard not to drink it now. But much better in 2017. " (02/2013)

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine displays plenty of black raspberries, black currants, espresso roast, Asian soy and plum sauce along with some mocha and chocolate. Beautifully rich, firm, and full-bodied, with sweet but abundant tannins, this is a classy, noble style of wine that should be forgotten for at least 5-7 years and drunk over the following 20. Remarkably, the alcohol, like most of the wines in the J. P. Moueix stable of Pomerols and St.-Emilions, hit 14.5%. (RP)" (02/2013)

95 points Wine Spectator: "A fleshy, alluring style, with strong structure, displaying plum, fig and boysenberry fruit laced with incense, Lapsang souchong tea and violet notes. Almost creamy, this features a thread of charcoal lending extra drive and depth on the finish. Seems to expand rapidly in the glass, boding well for cellaring. Best from 2017 through 2030. (JM)" (03/2013)

94 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good deep red. Sexy aromas of plum, raspberry, chocolate and tobacco. Superripe, lush and sweet, with a remarkably round texture to the concentrated flavors of red fruits, caramel, mocha, spices and iron. As creamy as this is, there's solid underlying structure here from the wine's cabernet franc component. Finishes plummy and very long, with palate-saturating sweetness. (ST)" (07/2013)

94 points Wine Enthusiast: "This is a wine that is all tannin at this young stage. It is firmly dry and structured with a tight, dark texture. Ithas the concentrated fruit to sustain this initial severity, but will need many more years to show its power. (RV)" (03/2013)

2010 Larcis Ducasse, St-Emilion 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($850.00)

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The wine boasts 14.6% natural alcohol and is a final blend of roughly three-fourths Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc, cropped at a ridiculously low 19 hectoliters per hectare. Notes of licorice, garrigue, incense, smoked meats, espresso, creme de cassis and blackberry liqueur jump from the glass of this unbelievably intense wine. Remarkably full, with compelling freshness and precision, this is a fabulous effort in 2010. It will probably close down over the next several years, and not re-emerge for at least a decade, something that often happens with the bigger, richer, more muscular St.-Emilions from the limestone hillsides and plateaux. This is one of the superstars of the vintage and a profound wine. Drink it between 2020 and 2045. (RP) 98+" (02/2013)

97 points Vinous: "One of the highlights in this tasting, the 2010 Larcis Ducasse is simply stunning. Although quite fresh, vibrant and intense, the 2010 is also very closed in on itself. Violet, lavender, graphite and menthol are some of the many notes that give the 2010 its energy and tension. Still very much closed, the 2010 is going to need a good few years to come into its own. Still, it is pretty impressive today. With time in the glass, the 2010 gives a very good idea of what is to come for those who can wait. (AG) 97+" (03/2017)

97 points James Suckling: "Wow. This is really intense with amazing dark fruit character of crushed blueberries and minerals. Its full-bodied, with super integrated tannins and a superb finish that lasts for minutes. A fabulous wine. Better in 2019." (02/2014)

94 points Wine Spectator: "A rich, tongue-coating style, with loamy structure and dense plum sauce, roasted fig and warm dark Zcurrant confiture notes, all inlaid with espresso and graphite. Still tightly drawn now, this needs a bit more cellaring to unfurl fully, but there's beautiful polish and lovely fruit worth waiting for. Best from 2016 through 2030. *Top 100 Wines of 2013* (JM)" (03/2013)

94 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright medium ruby. Knockout nose combines cassis, espresso, smoked meat, crushed rock, olive, caramel and a whiff of V-8. Broad, thick and fine-grained but youthfully tight, with uncanny weight to the flavors of black raspberry and minerals. But an exhilarating floral element gives lift to the middle palate. Doesn't have quite the pungent minerality of Pavie but I love the suave extraction here. And the smooth finish goes on and on. A great vintage for this wine, which is made by the team of Nicolas Thienpont and Stephane Derenoncourt. (ST) 94+" (08/2013)

Decanter: "Concentrated black fruits nose, black cherries and lots of natural ripeness. Big and almost sweet on the palate, broad, even a little massive and chunky; the richness will dominate over vineyard expression. (Spurrier)" (08/2013)

2010 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien 6-pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) ($1,025.00)

99 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Another massive, incredible release from this estate is the 2010 Léoville Poyferré. Based on 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot and the balance Petit Verdot, its inky purple color is followed by a massive, full-bodied, incredibly concentrated 2010 that has awesome notes of pure crème de cassis, licorice, graphite, and spring flowers. As with the 2009, it has incredible depth of fruit, yet a slightly more focused, classic style, which is very much in the style of the 2010 vintage. With its new oak completely absorbed by its wealth of fruit, perfect balance, and sweet tannin, its a sensational, monumental effort to drink over the coming 3-4 decades." (02/2018)

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The wine out distances both Leoville Las Cases and Leoville Barton, but all three of them are compelling efforts. Full-bodied, dense purple in color, with floral notes intermixed with blackberries, cassis, graphite and spring flowers, this full-bodied, legendary effort is long and opulent, with wonderfully abundant yet sweet tannin, a skyscraper-like mid-palate and a thrilling, nearly one-minute finish. This spectacular effort from Poyferre that should drink well for 30+ years. (RP) 98+" (02/2013)

98 points Wine Enthusiast: "A wine of architectural strength and classical proportions, this has straight lines that mark the packed, concentrated fruits, which are sustained by its tannins. This is certainly the best wine that Léoville-Poyferré has produced, sumptuous while so finely structured. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (02/2013)

2010 Malescot-St-Exupéry, Margaux 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) ($675.00)

95 points James Suckling: "A wine with beautiful strawberry and chocolate with hints of pie crust. It's full-bodied with super integrated tannins and a long, long finish. Needs at least four to five years to really come together but so wonderful. Not the amazing 2009 but clearly outstanding." (11/2013)

95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Gorgeous, flowery, classic Margaux once again, the 2010 Malescot St.-Exupery continues to show virtually no toasty oak, given the impeccable balance and full-bodied, full-throttle style it possesses. Black raspberries, creme de cassis and spring floral notes intermixed with forest floor and a hint of charcoal are followed by an opulent, sexy, full-bodied wine whose tannins have become much sweeter, while the wine is less restrained yet still exuberant and impressive. This is a phenomenal example once again for this estate, harmonious in every sense of style, extraordinarily long, rich and ageworthy. Three to four years of bottle age will do wonders to make it more accessible, but this wine is set for 25-30 years of longevity. (RP)" (02/2013)

94 points Wine Spectator: "This delivers a slightly chewy-edged feel, with charcoal and roasted alder hints holding sway over the core of steeped damson plum, black currant and anise notes. Shows grip through the finish, but stays long, featuring a lovely backdrop of tar and warm stone. The excellent range and drive should pay off in the cellar.(JM)" (03/2013)

93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good deep ruby-red. High-pitched aromas of raspberry, cherry liqueur, flowers and cedary cigar box. A sweet, dense midweight with penetrating red cherry and floral flavors accented by sound acidity. Nothing thick or heavy about this wine but it possesses plenty of chewy depth. Boasts excellent early balance but has the firm, sweet tannins and finishing bite and length for at least a couple decades of positive evolution in bottle. (ST)" (07/2013)

Decanter: "Striking fragrance of cassis-Cabernet fruit with a hint of greenness that adds lift, very good extraction and florality beginning to emerge, will show fascinating complexity over time. Drink 2018-30. (17.5/20 points)" (04/2011)

2010 Pavie, St-Emilion 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($2,600.00)

100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "What fun, excitement and joy it will be to compare the four perfect wines Perse has made in 2005, 2009, 2010 and, of course, the 2000, in 25 or so years. This wine is truly profound Bordeaux. Everything is in place - remarkable concentration and a beautiful nose of cedar and ripe blackcurrant and blackberry with some kirsch and spice box in the background. Lavishly rich, with slightly more structure and delineation than the more Rabelaisian 2009, this wine does show some serious tannins in the finish, and comes across as incredibly youthful. Of course, it's five years old, but it tastes more like a just-bottled barrel sample than a 2010. In any event, this wine is set for a long, long life and should be forgotten for at least another decade. Consume it over the following 75 or more years. (RP)" (08/2015)

98 points James Suckling: "Amazing aromas of blackberries and chocolate. Then dried herbs and sweet tobacco. Wonderful. Full body, with a wonderful density and richness. It goes on for minutes. Tannic and structure but incredible. Very savory. This needs at least 10 years. Superb. This is not quiet as complex as 2005 or as harmonious, but it is super quality. Yes." (11/2013)

98 points Wine Spectator: "A brick house, still rather tight, with loads of apple wood and juniper flavors holding the core of red currant, blackberry and bitter plum fruit in check. Offers ample grip through the finish, with a mouthwatering chalk, graphite and tobacco spine. A huge wine that hasn't budged and probably won't for some time. (JM, Web only-2017)"

95 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Saturated, deep ruby-red. High-toned, superripe aromas of black raspberry, cassis and caramel. Then dense, velvety and huge in the mouth, with great power and chew to the thick flavors of cassis, raspberry and crushed chalk. This improbably thick wine boasts terrific sweetness but its huge, building tannins will need a good decade of cellaring to harmonize. Interestingly, Gerard Perse picked this fruit in mid-October, yet the wine has been even higher in alcohol in some recent vintages. (ST) 95+" (08/2013)

94 points Vinous: "(14.7% alcohol; 3.24 pH): Fully saturated deep red. Ripe aromas of spicy red cherry jam, plum, dried herbs, sweet spices and clove. Rich, ripe and dense on entry, then austere and precise in the middle, showing deep flavors of cassis, cinnamon, minerals and savory herbs. Finishes lush, floral and long, with a chocolatey note. This bright, seamless wine strikes me as a very ripe but not over-the-top style of Pavie Macquin. It improves noticeably with aeration, becoming more minerally and less obviously ripe, and I really didn't notice the high alcohol. Great wine. (ID) 94+" (03/2014)

Jancis Robinson: "Blackish crimson. Juicy and clean and fresh. A little lacking in sheer density but there is great purity. And apparent longevity. Lots of mineral character. Great balance and potential. Dry appetising finish. Masses of ripe tannin. Long. Proper! 18/20" (01/2014)

K&L Notes: PLEASE NOTE: This product is offered as a complete case in original packaging. If the wines are going to be shipped upon arrival, the bottles will be sent in pulp shippers to protect the bottles during shipping, with the empty case itself shipped separately on request. 2010 Vieux-Château-Certan, Pomerol 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) ($2,400.00)

100 points James Suckling: "A perfect wine with perfect purity of fruit. It shows gorgeous aromas of blackberries, currants and cedar with hints of chocolate. Full body, with a lovely sweetness of fruit and ripe tannins. It goes to chocolate, hazelnut and spices. Nutmeg too. Sexy and incredible. It has so much depth of fruit and density. Better in 2020." (02/2013)

99 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Vieux Chateau Certan, a blend of 86% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, tips the scales at 14.5% alcohol. Production was lower than in 2009 and the alcohol slightly higher, but the pH is 3.7, which is surprisingly reasonable given the lofty power and alcoholic clout this full-bodied wine possesses. Dense purple-colored, the 2010 displays a vivid yet astonishing array of spice box, red, blue and black fruits, crushed rock and spring flowers. The oak is well-concealed behind the lavish concentration and richness. Exceptionally pure, this unbelievable wine flirts with perfection. Unfortunately, there is 20% less of it than in 2009, and the tannins warrant a good 8-10 years of cellaring, as I suspect it could actually close down. This is another 40- to 50-year effort in 2010 that should elicit considerable interest from wine consumers. Thienpont thinks he has produced three wines - 2008, 2009 and 2010 - that are the greatest trilogy in the history of Vieux Chateau Certan, rivaling what this estate did in 1947, 1948 and 1949. (RP)" (02/2013)

98 points Wine Spectator: "A stunner, this marries structured tobacco, ganache and loam notes to a glorious core of raspberry, blackberry and plum coulis flavors, accented by coffee, roasted mesquite and black tea aromatics. A terrific minerality courses throughout, with the finish letting power and refinement play out almost endlessly. Best from 2017 through 2040. *Collectibles* (JM)" (03/2013)

2010 Antinori "Tignanello" Toscana 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($775.00)

97 points Decanter: "This demonstrates amazing aromatic complexity. Balsamic herbs like rosemary, sage and thyme meet red forest berries, sous-bois, creosote and warm stones. There is a sinewy precision to the tannin and lively succulent acidity, both of which are seamlessly integrated with the elegantly restrained fruit. Still tightly wound, it could do with a bit more time to expand on the palate and will offer plenty of drinking pleasure for years to come. (MM)" (02/2018)

96 points James Suckling: "One of the best Tignanellos ever made. Aromas of currants and blueberries with hints of flowers. Full body with fine tannins and a refined finish. A red that delivers balance and beauty. Rich and gorgeous. Blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Better in 2015." (11/2013)

96 points Vinous: "Antinori's 2010 Tignanello is stunning, as it has been since I started tasting the component wines in 2011. Firm yet sweet, silky tannins form the backbone for this gorgeous, vivid wine. Dark red cherries, plums, cloves, mint and sage inform a Tignanello that impresses for its delineation, nuance and power. Clean, saline notes support the mineral-drenched finish. The 2010 isn't huge, but rather is a vertical wine endowed with tremendous energy and vibrancy. I can't remember a Tignanello with this much crystalline tension and pure energy. Simply put, the 2010 Tignanello is a magnificent, towering wine from Antinori. (AG)" (08/2013)

95 points Wine Enthusiast: "Black berry, plum, red currant and cedar aromas take center stage in this fantastic vintage of one of Italys most iconic wines. The structured, poised palate delivers a great depth of flavors that include succulent black cherry, cracked black pepper and mocha that are energized by a flinty mineral note. Smooth and balanced with polished tannins and fresh acidity, this is already delicious but hold for complexity. Drink 2015-2030. *Cellar Selection* (KO)" (05/2014)

94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Humming with energy and life from the very moment you put your nose in the glass, Marchesi Antinoris 2010 Tignanello shows magnificent aromatic layering and an enormous capacity to peel back and reveal itself in beautiful slow motion. This is an articulate wine with a long story to tell about the quality of its profound 2010 fruit. This Tignanello has the elegance of 2004 and the structure of 2007. A brief note on the structure: The mouthfeel here is not broad and big. Instead, it shows a sharp and elegantly streamlined feel with impressive persistency. Compared to 2009, the Sangiovese component is slightly higher with 80% of the noble Tuscan variety followed by 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2035. (ML)" (08/2013)

92 points Wine Spectator: "Marked by new oak, this red reveals cherry, currant, vanilla, smoke and chocolate flavors, backed by a powerful rearguard of tannins. Stays fresh through the lingering finish. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2016 through 2032. (BS)" (10/2013)

Jancis Robinson: "80% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc. Tasted alongside Solaia 2010, this had a very similarly ripe, luscious texture with well-worked tannins but with more acidity and vitality. The tang and savour of Sangiovese is wonderfully complementary to the super-smooth physical impact of this wine. You could actually drink it with pleasure already in 2014. 17.5/20 points. (JR)" (02/2014)

2010 Gaja "Sori Tildin" Langhe 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) ($2,550.00)

97 points James Suckling: "Wow. Impressive, complex aromas of lilacs and dried strawberries, with hints of flower stems. Full body with focused, polished tannins. It draws you to the centre palate of the wine and seems to last forever. Makes you want to drink it now but will be better still in 2016." (04/2014)

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Gaia Gaja uses the word salty to describe this next wine, and I see her point. The 2010 Sori Tildin shows a dry, firmly structured quality that enhances those extraordinary, breezy overtones of lead pencil and brimstone that so fittingly frame the Nebbiolo grape. The lingering end-notes of rose petal, ginger and cedar are striking. You immediately feel the tannic structure and power of the wine. The jump is very sharp next to the Costa Russi, and thats why this is one of Gajas best cellar-agers. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2040. (ML) 96+" (06/2013)

96 points Vinous: "Good full medium red. Subtly complex aromas of redcurrant, strawberry, graphite, mocha and spices. Seriously deep and fine-grained, with dazzling mid-palate minerality energizing the wine's fruit and drawing out the finish. Outstanding balance and vinosity here. The very long finish leaves behind a sexy smoky quality. This warm site can be tough for these low-vigor vines in a hot year but this wine is sensational in 2010. (ST) 96+" (11/2013)

2010 Giacomo Conterno "Monfortino" Barolo Riserva 3-Pack (Pre-Arrival) ($5,300.00)

100 points James Suckling: " This is a mesmerizing wine with flowers such as violets and roses. Leather undertones with bright red fruits. Peaches and some lemongrass, too. It seems to change all the time in the glass. Full-bodied, tight and complete with ultra-fine, powerful tannins that are just seamless and beautiful. The richness of flavors is incredible. Yet, subtle and reserved. Endless pleasure. Will age forever. Upgraded from two years ago. Better in 2022" (04/2018)

100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Barolo Riserva Monfortino is a perfect wine and there are few things I am more sure of in this life. This is an extraordinary creation that bursts from the glass with a level of distinct intensity and elegance that is nothing short of breathtaking. The wine literally evokes an emotional and deeply visceral reaction thanks to the lasting impression it makes on your heart, mind and gut. This Barolo opens to a delicate garnet color that is brightened with crystalline luminosity. The bouquet offers an immediate curtain-raiser with chiseled aromas of wild berry, licorice, white truffle and tar. That explosive start is followed by a mounting crescendo of complexity and nuance. The wine is extremely silky and polished in terms of mouthfeel and this helps to underline its impressive persistence. Bravo! (ML)" (06/2017)

100 points Vinous: "Every bit as magnificent as it has always been from cask, the 2010 Barolo Riserva Monfortino is utterly compelling. Captivating aromatics make a strong first impression. Nuanced and vivid on the palate, the 2010 Monfortino possesses remarkable finesse and power. Classic Monfortino notes of dried rose petal, leather, licorice and incense develop beautifully in the glass as the wine literally takes hold of all the senses. When it was in cask the 2010 was quite structured, but in two tastings after its recent bottling the 2010 has been much more elegant. At times, the 2010 reminds me of the 2004, with perhaps a bit less aromatic intensity but more structure. On paper the 2010 is very high in tannin, and yet that is not the way it feels at all, at least not at this point in its life. A vivid, thrilling wine, the 2010 will soon take its place among the greatest Monfortinos ever made. (AG)" (11/2016)

97 points Wine Spectator: "The black cherry and plum fruit is accented by vanilla and toasty oak in this sleek, polished red, which is lively and beautifully integrated, so give it time to absorb the oak. Shows fine length and a mineral aftertaste. Best from 2022 through 2040. *Collectibles* (BS)" (04/2018)

2010 Luciano Sandrone "Le Vigne" Barolo 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) ($1,950.00)

100 points Vinous: "Sandrone's 2010 Barolo Le Vigne is one of the wines of the vintage, hands down. Rich, layered and utterly impeccable, the Le Vigne boasts stunning depth and richness. This is the second year in which Le Vigne includes fruit from Baudana which gives the wine a sense of volume and pure breadth it has never had before. Dried rose petal, tar, mint, wild flowers and cinnamon flow through to the multi-dimensional finish. The 2010 is a blend of fruit from Vignane and Merli, two historic sites for Le Vigne, while Cerretta and Conterni have been replaced by Baudana, a site in Serralunga that confers a level of depth, darkness and masculinity that has not been present in the past. Villero is the next vineyard that will appear in Le Vigne, starting in 2011. In the meantime, readers will not want to miss the 2010 Barolo Le Vigne, an epic achievement from the Sandrone family. (AG)" (01/2014)

97 points Wine Enthusiast: "This compelling wine delivers a combination of concentration and complexity. It opens with a multifaceted fragrance that includes mature black fruit, leather, cinnamon and balsamic notes. The palate is still tightly wound but offers bright red berry and black cherry layered with notes of tobacco, alpine herbs and baking spices alongside bracing tannins and invigorating acidity. It's young but impeccably balanced. *Cellar Selection* (KO)" (10/2014)

96 points James Suckling: "A gorgeous young wine with flowers, sandalwood and berries on the nose. Full body, with ultra-fine tannins and a long, long finish. Wonderfully harmonious. A blend of wines from different vineyards. So attractive to drink now but better in 2017." (04/2014)

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Barolo Le Vigne is composed from an assembly of fruit sourced from the townships of Barolo, Novello and Serralunga dAlba. It reflects Barolo tradition in which, years ago, this noble wine was made from a wide assembly of fruit instead of single cru sites (as is the custom today). Bright cherry fruit, blackberry and creme de cassis segue to profound layers of licorice, spice, cola and anisette. It feels strong and tonic in the mouth with a pleasingly velveteen texture and a fresh dose of zesty acidity. Drink: 2017-2030. (ML)" (07/2014)

94 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good deep red. Perfumed aromas of raspberry, licorice, dried flowers and herbs. Silky on entry, then rich but tight in the middle, with a distinctly darker fruit character than the Cannubi Boschis. Very complex, energetic wine with fresh acidity, serious tannins and a sappy saline quality on the very long finish. A beauty in the making. Sandrone told me that there was a time when he wanted to add 10% Cannubi to the Le Vigne blend. (ST) 94+" (11/2013)

94 points Wine & Spirits: "Luciano Sandrone blends Le Vigne from crus he farms and, mostly, owns. In this vintage, he selected fruit from Baudana, Merli and Vignane, aging the wine in 500-liter French tonneaux, 20 to 25 percent new. His Barolo can be massive, and Le Vigne is boldly ripe and black-fruited in 2010, but also poised and balanced in its size. The tannins are intense, coating the mouth with their powerful earthiness, with the rootiness of a parsnip pulled straight from the ground. The fruit closes in over the tannins, so they dont feel at all gruff. The lasting impression is elegant and classical, what the wine will become in ten years." (12/2014)

94 points Wine Spectator: "A rich version, boasting floral, macerated cherry, plum, menthol and tobacco flavors. The tannins are dense, but this remains vibrant and elegant overall, finishing with spice and earth notes. Exhibits excellent harmony and length. Best from 2018 through 2035. (BS)" (12/2014)

2010 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco 12-Pack (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($595.00)

92 points James Suckling: "Beautiful aromas of white truffles, plums and berries. HInts of spices. Full to medium body with fine tannins and beautiful licorice, berry and fennel seed. Very pretty length. Drinkable now but better in 2015." (04/2014)

91 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Tangy cherry and raspberry aromas are lifted by flowers and mint on the cool, inviting nose. Silky-sweet and floral, with lovely inner-mouth juiciness to its red berry flavors. Owing to the wine's moderate body and flesh, the tannins show a slightly dryness but the long, juicy finish offers enticing floral perfume. A lovely, sharply delineated Barbaresco at a very reasonable price. (ST)" (12/2013)

2010 Roberto Voerzio "Brunate" Barolo 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($2,050.00)

98 points Vinous: "The 2010 Barolo Brunate is incredibly silky and polished in this vintage. Pine, menthol, licorice, black cherries and plums flesh out in a dark, gorgeous Barolo loaded with class and elegance. The Brunate can sometimes be a bit hulking in style, but in 2010 it is incredibly refined. The 2010 boasts striking depth, power and richness. (AG)" (01/2014)

97 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Opening to a dark garnet color, the 2010 Barolo Brunate exhibits a great deal of focus and clarity that is further reinforced by the mineral character of the wine. Dark fruit, balsam herb, cola, spice and black tar peel off in generous layers. Like all of Voerzios wines this vintage, the Brunate shows a steady firmness of structure that is uncommon in 2010 (his plant density is a whopping 7,000 vines per hectare, a strong factor in terms of mouthfeel). Drink: 2017-2035. (ML)" (06/2014)

2010 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) ($1,300.00)

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Sassicaia Bolgheri Sassicaia brings back some of the brambly rosemary and wild Mediterranean brush that was missing in 2009. This will greatly appeal to enthusiasts of Sassicaias trademark elegance. The wine shows extreme purity that brings its many beautiful aromas into startling focus and clarity. Lingering tones of black fruit and Oriental spice add subtle shades at the back. The wine mostly certainly shows its pedigree in the exciting and beautifully balance manner it evolves in the glass: It tells a new story each time you return to observe the bouquet. This is the harbinger of cellar longevity. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2040. (ML)" (08/2013)

96 points Vinous: "The 2010 Sassicaia is just beginning to show the first signs of aromatic development. Sweet tobacco, mint, pine, dried cherries and licorice open up in the glass, but only with great reluctance. The 2010 remains a wine of striking precision and nuance, but it also has an element of classical austerity that is especially apparent today. Readers should be in no rush to drink the 2010. (AG)" (10/2015)

2010 Tua Rita Redigaffi Toscana IGT 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($1,600.00)

97 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Redigaffi is even more impressive with seamless integration of ripe fruit and oak spice that meet each other perfectly in the middle. It soars to new heights of elegance and power, imparting beautiful tones of black fruit, polished river stone, bacon fat and black pepper as it makes its steady ascent. The mouthfeel is fleshy and generous and there is plenty of backbone here to carry the wine forward throughout the years. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2038. (ML)" (08/2013)

95 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(100% merlot; 41 g/l dry extract): Deep black-ruby. Knockout nose combines cassis, blueberry jelly, licorice, coffee and sweet Oriental spices. Dense, suave and refined, with deep, multilayered flavors of cassis, black cherry, licorice, cocoa and tobacco. Finishes long and very smooth, with compelling sweetness and repeating notes of Oriental spices and black cherry. Long-time IWC readers knowI am rarely a fan of voluptuous wines that lose precision and sense of place in favor of creaminess and sheer size, but owner Stefano Frascolla manages to imbue each of his wines with a recognizable somewhereness, not to mention varietal accuracy. And this set of 2009s has a discernible measure of grace and refinement that, for example, the much vaunted 2000s, though outstanding, did not have. A very great Redigaffi, in its own inimitable style. 95+ (ID)" (09/2012)

2010 Château de Beaucastel "Hommage à Jacques Perrin" Châteauneuf-du-Pape 3-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($1,325.00)

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tight, dense and backward, the 2010 Châteauneuf du Pape Hommage À Jacques Perrin was one of the least approachable wines in the lineup, yet certainly has incredible potential. Offering lots of liquid minerality, crushed rock, blueberry, truffle and cassis, its massive and concentrated on the palate, with building tannin, good acidity and a firm, focused feel that begs for cellaring. Hide these in the cellar for another decade.Coming mostly from a plot of old vines located behind the estate, the Perrin Familys Châteauneuf du Pape Hommage à Jacques Perrin was first created in 1989 and is a tribute to the late Jacques Perrin, who passed away in 1978. Aged all in foudre and normally a blend of 60% Mourvedre, 20% Grenache, 10% Counoise and the rest Syrah, its only produced in top vintages and theres normally a scant 400-500 cases to go around. Its an incredible, yet atypical Châteauneuf du Pape due to its high Mourvèdre content. While most vintages require upwards of a decade of cellaring, the more forward, sexy vintages can certainly be enjoyable in their youth as well. (JD) 98+" (02/2015)

97 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright ruby. A drop-dead, room-filling bouquet evokes black raspberry liqueur, incense, anise and lavender, with smoke and herb overtones. Sappy and penetrating, offering deeply pitched but lively dark berry and cherry flavors and an exotic touch of candied flowers. Fine-grained tannins come up with air and give grip to an endless, fruit- and mineral-dominated finish. This remarkable wine would be at the top of my Chateauneuf to-buy list this vintage if I had the resources to swim in such waters. (JR)" (01/2013)

96 points Decanter: "A well-built Beaucastel offering with cassis, herb and spice aromas. The palate has a very tight structure with a sturdy backbone of tannins and a framework of acidity cradling dense, concentrated fruit. This is a two-decade wine. (CG)" (11/2017)

2010 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Réservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L) 3-Pack (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($675.00)

96-98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Reservee, which I tasted from several foudres, is essentially equivalent in quality, but it has not yet been bottled. If I understood Paul Feraud correctly, he tends to prefer the 2009, but says Laurence prefers the 2010. In any event, this is one of those 'pickem' dilemmas. The 2010 is a fabulous wine of exceptional intensity, tremendous flavor authority and full-bodied power. It is slightly more reserved than the more flamboyant 2009, but of course it is still in foudre. Very rich with lots of Provencal herb, smoky, meaty, kirsch, black currant and blackberry notes, it is a stunningly viscous, thick and rich effort with a slightly more vibrant finish. This magnificent Chateauneuf du Pape should age for three decades or more based on how well the 1989 and 1990 are maturing. This 2010 should be bottled early next year, and released in Fall, 2013." (10/2012)

97 points Wine Spectator: "*#7 on Top 100 Wines of 2013* Intense, with the tarry, bittersweet cocoa fueled grip of the vintage running through a well-endowed core of crushed plum, blackberry paste and braised fig. The muscular finish picks up notes of brick dust, pepper, warm chestnut leaf and smoldering charcoal. A throwback profile, with a hyperripe core of fruit and it works. Best from 2015 through 2035" (08/2013)

94 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep ruby. An intensely perfumed bouquet evokes dried cherry, cassis, potpourri and smoked meat, with a spicy nuance adding vivacity. Rich but energetic on the palate, offering sweet dark fruit flavors and notes of candied lavender and anise. Chewy tannins add grip to a long, smoky and powerful finish, which leaves a bitter cherry note behind. Definitely built for the long haul; don't touch this wine for at least six or seven years." (02/2013)

Jancis Robinson: "The final blend had not been assembled when I visited Laurence Feraud, still in her jodphurs and with a large truck awaiting her completion of the paperwork. Her son was detailed to give me a tasting of this unracked wine from cask in their sprawling cellars. Very dense mulberry fruit. Tarry almost - certainly in terms of colour - and yet this wine seems to have real freshness and raciness to it. Quite an achievement! 18/20 points." (12/2011)

2010 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Réservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape 12-Pack (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($1,300.00)

96-99 points Jeb Dunnuck: "More straight and clean, yet with rocking concentration and tannic structure, the 2010 Domaine du Pégaü Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée is a beauty! Scheduled to be bottled later this year, it delivers classic aromas of black fruits, mineral, iron, and wild herb qualities on the nose, and what it lacks (at the moment) in complexity, it more than makes up for with brilliant purity, clear, delineated aromas, and awesome focus and length. This full-bodied, rich, and layered 2010 will handsomely reward cellaring, and drink well for decades. It is one of the most impressive Cuvée Réservées Ive tasted." (09/2012)

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Looking at the 2010s and a brilliant vintage for Laurence, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape offers up classic Pegau aromas and flavors of ripe dark fruits, garrigue, cured meats, tobacco leaf, saddle leather and hints of game. Full-bodied and beautifully concentrated, it offers a seamless, layered profile on the palate with thrilling mid-palate depth, sweet, yet substantial tannin, and a blockbuster finish that stays fresh and beautifully focused. Quite polished by this estates standards, it nevertheless screams southern France and I doubt its possible to have too much of this beauty in the cellar. It will absolutely thrill over the coming 2-3 decades. Drink 2016-2030. (JD)" (10/2013)

97 points Wine Spectator: "Intense, with the tarry, bittersweet cocoa fueled grip of the vintage running through a well-endowed core of crushed plum, blackberry paste and braised fig. The muscular finish picks up notes of brick dust, pepper, warm chestnut leaf and smoldering charcoal. A throwback profile, with a hyperripe core of fruit and it works. Best from 2015 through 2035. *Collectibles and #7 of Top 100 Wines of 2013* (JM)" (08/2013)

Definitely built for the long haul; don't touch this wine for at least six or seven years. (JR)" (02/2013)

93 points Wine & Spirits: "It's an elegant Chateauneuf, the Grenache singing out in bell tones of cherry, herbal notes giving it coolness and restraint. The tannins are ferrous but fine, with a tenacity that holds the wine's freshness for days after opening--and should hold it in the cellar for another six years at least." (02/2014)

93 points Wine Enthusiast: "At the moment, the 2010 Réservée is intense but moody, showing a smoky, gamy, feral side. The fruit is subdued but concentrated, picking up multiple earthy, spicy nuances including iodine and licorice. Its a big wine, with chewy tannins that leave the impression of fine suede behind on the long finish. Top 100 Cellar Selection 2014. *Cellar Selection* (JC)" (11/2014)

2010 M. Chapoutier "Croix de Bois" Châteauneuf-du-Pape 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) ($475.00)

94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Croix de Bois, which comes from the Bedarrides sector of Chateauneuf du Pape, reveals flamboyant aromas of licorice, Christmas fruitcake, loamy soil, black cherries, black currants and raspberries. This spicy, peppery, earthy, exotic, full-bodied, super-rich 2010 is slightly more structured than the superb 2009. It begs for several years of cellaring, and should drink well for 15 or more. (RP)" (10/2012)

94 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Vivid ruby. A heady, seductive bouquet evokes black raspberry and cherry liqueur, potpourri and allspice, with a bright mineral overtone. Shows impressive clarity and energy, offering penetrating dark berry and floral pastille flavors that gain weight with air. Spreads out on the finish, which features soft tannins and a whiplash of sweet dark fruit. This wine was raised entirely in concrete." (01/2013)

Jancis Robinson: "Dark crimson. Very sweet and round. Super-juicy fruit with extra intensity and a bit more smoothness than the average Tradition bottling. Fresh finish." (12/2011)

2010 M. Chapoutier "Le Méal" Ermitage Rouge 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($1,625.00)

99 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the stars of the retrospective was the 2010 Ermitage le Meal. This classic vintage yielded concentrated, fresh and structured wines and the 2010 has all of these traits in spades. Giving up a massive array of liquid rock, graphite, spring flowers, cassis and black raspberries, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a tight, structured, tannic mouthfeel and bright acidity, all while still showing incredible polish and elegance. It will certainly flirt with perfection at maturity, but is all about minerality and structure at the moment. Give this incredible effort 3-5 years of cellaring and enjoy it over the following 2-3 decades. (JD) 99+" (09/2015)

98 points Wine Spectator: "A dark, nicely toasty style, with lots of warm cocoa, espresso and tar notes up front, followed by crushed fig and warm currant confiture flavors. A toasty edge holds sway on the finish for now, but this is packed with a tarry intensity and loads of fleshy fruit through the long, loamy finish. Dark and chewy, exhibiting terrific drive. Best from 2018 through 2035. *Collectibles* (JM)" (10/2013)

95 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep ruby. Spice-accented black raspberry, cherry-cola, licorice and floral pastilles on the highly perfumed nose and on the palate. Sappy, deeply pitched and chewy on entry, then livelier in the middle, with lively acidity adding lift and bite. Really stains the palate, finishing with superb energy and floral-driven persistence. 2010 M. Chapoutier "Le Pavillon" Ermitage Rouge 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($2,025.00)

100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasting like the concentrated blood from an aged and grilled strip steak, the 2010 Ermitage Le Pavillon boasts a black/purple color along with creme de cassis, camphor, pen ink, white flower and lead pencil shaving characteristics in its massive, full-bodied personality. It almost defies description because of its ethereal concentration and off-the-charts extract levels. This is not for the faint of heart, or those who lack patience, as it will require 10-15 years of bottle age, and, as previously stated, will keep for 50 or more. There are just over 1,000 cases of the 2010 Le Pavillon, another perfect wine in the constellation of profound wines produced by Michel Chapoutier. (RP)" (12/2012)

97 points Wine Spectator: "Densely packed, with zesty loganberry, blueberry coulis, plum skin and blackberry paste flavors, presenting a hefty backdrop of ganache and graphite that takes over on the very long finish. A lovely alder note echoes in the background. Best from 2018 through 2028." (10/2013)

96 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Inky purple. Heady, exotically perfumed aromas of ripe dark berries, candied flowers, Indian spices and cracked pepper. Stains the palate with intense blackberry and boysenberry flavors, picking up a sweet violet pastille note with aeration. Dense but lively and strikingly precise given its concentration. Shows superb finishing energy and focus, closing with amazing length and slow-building, harmonious tannins. This wine is built for the long haul; I wouldn't touch it for at least another decade." (04/2013)

2010 M. Chapoutier "l'Ermite" Ermitage Rouge 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) - 0 available ($2,700.00)

100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Ermitage lErmite is another perfect wine. Completely different than Le Pavillon, lErmite is always slightly more austere. It comes from a 7.5-acre parcel of sandy, granitic soils at the top of the Hill of Hermitage that produces both red and white compelling Hermitages, somewhat unusual in this tiny appellation. The black/purple-colored 2010 lErmite exhibits a tight, more mineral-dominated set of aromatics offering up hints of blue and black fruits, charcoal, steak tartare and an unmistakable floral note. This full-bodied, more austere and tannic effort reveals extraordinary weight, palate penetration and purity. It represents the concentrated essence of a specific site as well as the Syrah grape planted in this magical appellation. (RP)" (12/2012)

99 points Wine Spectator: "Stunning, with a seemingly bottomless well of blackberry confiture, plum sauce and blackberry pâte de fruit flavors allied to an intense wrought-iron spine that lends an authoritative feel through the finish. An intense, strident, supremely confident rendering of terrific terroir in a superb vintage." (10/2013)

95 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Glass-staining purple. Powerful, room-filling aromas of dark fruit liqueur, sandalwood, mocha, licorice and potpourri. Stains the palate with weighty dark berry and bitter cherry flavors, a sappy floral pastille nuance adding an exotic touch. Silky tannins come up with air and build through a remarkably long, chewy, smoke- and spice-accented finish. This wine has gained structure and power since last year and really should be stashed away and forgotten for a good long while." (03/2013)

Jancis Robinson: "Spicy and rich yet dry and smooth and polished. Sweet, sinewy. But for the very long term. Very firm chewy end. 18.5/20 points." (10/2011)

2010 Pierre Usseglio "Réserve des Deux Frères" Châteauneuf-du-Pape 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) ($900.00)

97 points Wine Spectator: "This is special, with a very deep well of plum, fig, cassis and blackberry fruit seamlessly melded together and a nearly endless finish inlaid with Lapsang souchong tea, melted licorice snap and Turkish coffee notes. Stays very poised despite its immense weight. Hard to resist now, but its not going anywhere anytime soon. Best from 2013 through 2030." (10/2012)

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve des Deux Freres is composed of 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, and came in at 15.5% alcohol. In most vintages, this is basically the same cuvee as the Mon Aieul but with more press wine and the use of small new oak casks for aging the Syrah component. Approximately 30% stems were used in the fermentation. The 2010 is closed and nearly inaccessible at present. Full-bodied and massive with an inky/purple color, it reveals notes of smoked meats, blackberries, blueberries, flowers and subtle toast in the background. An enormous unctuosity and viscosity give the wine a palate gripping mouthfeel as the tannins are coated with glycerin. This brilliant wine needs at least 5-7 years of cellaring, and should keep for three decades thereafter. (RP)" (10/2012)

95 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Inky ruby. Assertive scents of black and blue fruit liqueur and incense show lovely clarity and take on spicecake and cola qualities with air. Lush, palate-coating blueberry and cassis flavors are braced by juicy acidity and pick up energy in the glass. Rich, vibrant and precise, finishing on a suave floral pastille note, with mounting tannins and superb clarity and length." (02/2013)
