This is a fabulous little secret in our Burgundy portfolio! The fruit presents itself in a very elegant manner, and laced through the great structure there's a lovely little line of minerality, sort of like granite. As the wine warmed up a little bit, I started to get more lime zest and juicy citrus notes. This is a serious little bottle, showing great complexity that is not often found at this price point. Serve with any seafood or white pasta dish for a great time!

This is a sensational value! Pure, fresh Chardonnay fruit is packed in here with aromas showing a mix of citrus, melon, stone fruit and white flowers. The flavor is scrumptious, the acidity is zingy and the finish lounges on my palate. Can white Burgundy in this price range be this good? OUI! Load up the car and take home as much as you can before I drink it all.

If you love a crisp, clean, and vivacious Chardonnay, then you simply must try this delightful 2017. Its approach is linear and focused, but then quickly expands, offering rounded edges and a plush mouthfeel. An array of green apple, lemon, a Bartlett pear grab your attention and hold onto to it. A bright and palate-cleansing finish rounds things out wonderfully—ending with a subtle tingle of acidity. This is a lot of wine for the price. Stock up and drink this charmer over the next five years, and you'll be a happy camper indeed.

This pretty white Burgundy arrived just in time for warm autumn days! Clean, crisp, fresh, packed with bright mineral notes and supple flavors of pear D'Anjou, Golden Delicious apple with juicy citrusy finish. For the price it's unbelievable and over-delivers for sure!

What a beautiful wine! Aromas of orchard fruits and freshly squeezed Meyer Lemons spring from the glass. The palate is lively with intense citrus and green apple flavors as well as notes of iodine and dried hay. The length here is quite impressive with a finish that lingers on the palate as the lemon notes slowly fade away. This is a stunning value and should be bought by the case.
Top Value! Drink from 2019 to 2022

Varietal:

Chardonnay

- It's hard to believe that up until about 30 years ago, this extremely popular varietal hid behind the veil of geographical names like Chablis and Puligny-Montrachet. Now grown all over the world and bottled by its varietal name, Chardonnay has achieved a level of branding unlike any other wine. Surprisingly, though, what you get when you buy Chardonnay can differ greatly from country to country and even within one country, depending on the climate where it's grown and how it is vinified and aged. From fresh, crisp and minerally with apple and lemon notes to rich and buttery with tropical fruit overtones, Chardonnay runs the gamut. In France's Burgundy, Chardonnay is the source of the prized wines of Chablis, Corton-Charlemagne, Mâcon, Meursault and Montrachet. It also the foundation of exceptional Champagne, where it is blended with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier or vinified on its own into Blanc de Blancs. It is also extremely popular in California, and is gaining popularity in Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Spain and South Africa.
Country:

France

- When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them.
Sub-Region:

Burgundy

- The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Côte d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Côte de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Côte de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Côte Chalonnaise and the Mâconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Côte d'Or. Also include by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.
