Seven Stills "Hazy Overnight" Hazy DIPA, California (16oz cans)

SKU #1434356

From the brewery: "When you only make one DIPA a month, its best to pull out all the stops when the time comes. We took that to heart this week, by basically using brewing ingredients from 3 different Continents to create one of our more ambitious brews to date. The first big swing we took was using the Norwegian Kveik yeast, a relatively new addition to the beer scene which is known for fermenting in temperatures upwards of 100 degrees and can finish fermenting a beer in less than 72 hours. This was our first time working with it, but I think we're sold on it moving forward. On top of the Kveik... we hopped a minimal amount of classic west coast Centennial hops on the bittering and then a metric boat-load of all New Zealand hops (Wakatu, Rakau, Montueka) from Freestyle Hop Farms on the Dry Hopping, creating a straight up fruit cocktail of an IPA. Go down the list of fresh fruit you would put in a salad for a summer potluck and you can pretty much find all of those in this beer. Cantaloupe, Yellow Peach, Blackberry, Mango, Pineapple, Grapes... It just keeps coming! Much like the painting its label is inspired from, Hazy Overnight is a true piece of art, just waiting to be discovered!"

United States

- When people consider domestic wine, they normally think about the state of California. The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality. But there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon, Washington and New York are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world.

- With the explosive growth that California's wine industry has seen the past several years, it's easy to view winemaking and grape growing in the Golden State as a recent phenomenon. And while it's true that California's viticultural history is brief compared to several European countries, this state's roots date back well over 200 years. Due to the enormous response to California wine within the United States and worldwide, there are thousands of excellent and diverse wines being produced within the state each year.
